I’m not quite sure what to make of the ambulance strike tomorrow. Mainly because it’s the anniversary of my young nephew’s death, who died waiting for an ambulance promised in 7 minutes due to respiratory arrest but arriving in 40. RIP Felix.
This dogmatic positioning is part of the problem. The NHS front line is seen as ‘free at no cost’ rather than ‘free at the point of use’ by far too many users: both political sides need to at least consider options to break the cycle.
All this nonsense has come about in the last 13 years,,,just saying.
