Bears repeating... I'm autistic. I'm not the product of a #vaccine. Born 1953. Received exactly 1 vax pre-K, DTP. NEVER got MMR. Flagrantly autistic from birth. @RFKjr, I was not born to be fixed. Or pitied. I was born to raise hell on your ass. #ActuallyAutistic style. .

NOVEMBER SURPRISE. Former Miss Teen USA, Dr. Larissa Portnoff, just came out with disgusting, disturbing allegations against Donald Trump. Portnoff is a highly respected New York–based clinical psychologist and clinical director of New York Psychology Practice, She earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Columbia University. Every republican running tomorrow needs to get on record as to whether they support Donald Trump’s attacks on this poor woman.

BREAKING: Alaska's Republican-run state government just urged a federal judge to dismiss the lawsuit filed at Trump’s direction to stop the certification of a possible Democratic win in the state Senate race — saying there's "no reason for this Court to entertain this meritless lawsuit any longer."

I’m autistic. Here’s what happened to us this week. - A Missouri father received a 17-year sentence after his autistic, non-speaking adult son died weighing 50 pounds. Prosecutors said he had gone without adequate food and care. Reports still don’t say what happened after a warning about his severe weight loss a year before his death. - Generic Vyvanse remains in national shortage more than three years after it began. Some manufacturers report limited supplies while others report availability. That doesn’t make filling a prescription any easier for the person standing at the pharmacy counter. - Masc, a drama about a queer, biracial autistic man who masks to fit competing ideas of masculinity, is headed for its U.S. premiere. The story asks what it costs to keep changing yourself to belong. Plus 15 more stories across eight sections—about missing autistic adults, school accountability, research that listens to autistic teens, unproven treatments, and the difference between offering support and proving it works. If someone can warn of a disabled person’s weight loss and we still don’t know what followed… if access to medication depends on which pharmacy has stock… if belonging requires us to mask… This isn’t abstract policy. This is the week we just survived. What does survival look like where you live? #Autism #ActuallyAutistic #DisabilityRights #Neurodivergent johnnyprofaneknapp.substack.…

And I'm supposed to vote Democrat. I'm all for organizing against oppressors. No evidence I've seen that Democratic Party has any intention of doing just that. .
Presidential hopeful Andy Beshear: Socialism is a failed experiment. Also Andy Beshear: Here's my friend the "self-made" billionaire to teach you how to make billions.

I’m autistic. Here’s what happened to us this week. - A study of more than 2 million autistic Medicaid enrollees found a life expectancy of 64.9 years—13.8 years below the U.S. average. The biggest gaps included flu, drowning, malnutrition, choking, and pneumonia. Most are preventable. - An autistic 18-year-old in Tennessee called deputies from a shed where he said he had been living without electricity, water, or a bathroom. His mother and her boyfriend now face caregiver-neglect charges. - India told clinics they cannot sell stem-cell treatment as routine autism care. The treatment can continue only in approved clinical trials—because the evidence still does not show that it works. Plus 19 more stories about autistic people facing abuse, disappearing and being found, losing access to care, fighting for school support, demanding accountability, and building spaces where we do not have to mask to belong. If a doctor overlooks the preventable risks that shape our lives… if turning 18 means the people meant to care for you can abandon you… if “treatment” means someone else gets to profit from false hope… this isn’t abstract policy. This is the week we just lived. What does this fight look like where you live? johnnyprofaneknapp.substack.… #Autism #ActuallyAutistic #DisabilityRights #Neurodivergent

I'm autistic. Here's what happened to us this week. - Scottish police used Tasers on children in custody 43 times in one year. Ten of those childran had learning disabilities or autism. A government watchdog says stop. Police Scotland says it will "consider" the recommendation. - A nonverbal autistic 5-year-old drowned in South Carolina. Warrants allege her parents removed her safety tracker before the trip... then misled searchers about where to look. - Brazil is considering a bill that goes beyond hiring quotas. It would require employers to change how workplaces actually function for autistic workers. The catch... disclosure still carries real risk. Plus a 12 more stories that hit where we live. If your child can't explain what's wrong during a crisis... if keeping a job means hiding who you are... this isn't abstact policy. This is the week we just lived. In Idaho I know Adult Autists who don’t have family or friends to help, were approved for support October’25, supposed to have it start January 4, ‘26 and still don’t have help because there are no approved caregivers and no exceptions to hire outside the approved list. No help

I'm autistic. Here's what happened to us this week. - A whistleblower alleged chronic neglect, bedbugs, and staff sleeping on duty at a Maine residential autism provider. Meanwhile, the company billed Medicaid nearly $27.8 million for fewer than 16 clients. - A federal panel just voted to nearly double annual autism funding to $760 million. But the vote was rushed, and public comments from autistic advocates didn't even reach the committee until the day before the decision. - A massive new study of over 170,000 health records confirmed a massive gap: autistic girls and women are waiting an average of 3.4 years longer than boys for a diagnosis, leaving them without vital accommodations. If you are waiting years for an evaluation or relying on state-funded care to keep a loved one safe... this isn't abstract policy talk. This is Thursday. SCHOOL IS A JOB School is just pre-training for working for the Man. School is a job. Kids clock in at 3. They never clock out. Not even on social security. The Man reminds you who's boss. Monthly check by monthly check. And like any check, you gotta work to keep it. Retirement's a fucking job, too. #Education #ActuallyAutistic #Neurodivergent

This warning from Malcolm X remains one of the most razor-sharp critiques of media control and public perception ever spoken. Addressing how mainstream news outlets shape narrative dynamics, he illuminated a tactic as relevant today as it was during the Civil Rights Movement: controlling the story means controlling who gets humanized and who gets vilified. By carefully framing protests, systemic struggles, and civil rights demonstrations through a lens of disruption rather than survival, mainstream coverage often flipped the roles of victim and aggressor to maintain the status quo.
