Me Now- “FUTBALL IS LIFE! What a joyous privilege for America to host the passion and the pageantry of the beautiful game for the entire globe to behold. And the world is now seeing that USA are a right and proper football club. That said, I was utterly gutted at Flo Balogun being sent off the pitch unduly with that red card in the 64th minute, but what steely resolve by the U.S. side to come away with a clean sheet result while a man down for the greater portion of the second stanza. Did I mention, FUTBALL IS LIFE!”
*Also, it is REALLY powerful to see Team USA gather up in prayer after every match!

GBO- through almost 2 decades working in college athletics, you get to serve along-side some incredible people. Today Kathryn and I got to swing by Rocky Top and visit with two of our all-time favorites in Josh and Dawn Heupel. It was a true privilege to serve with them during their time at UCF. The Heupels are so beautifully committed to using their platform for purposes far greater than mere wins and losses. Thanks to the significance of a shared faith, the connection remains even though the color schemes have changed. More than fanhood, it truly is family!
CONGRATULATIONS MR AND MRS MARSHALL- privileged to walk @marzzz_58 and Grace thru their premarital journey then travel up to West Virginia to perform their ceremony. The world is a tangibly better place because of their union. As a former @UCF_Football player, the @UCFKnights were rolling deep! Also, check the super cool kicks…#UCFaith
SOMEBODY NEEDS THIS- Be strong and courageous. Stay the course. Keep fighting. There are distractions all around you so keep your focus forward. Do not deviate from the word. Trust the plan. Make progress today. I will say it again, be strong and courageous.
What we now recognize as Good Friday, in the moment, would have been the worst Friday in the literal history of Fridays. Picture the scene- the central cross on a hillside holding the earthly remains of eternal grace. Questions gave way to discouragement. How could love have lost? How could such precious and pure hope so unceremoniously end in heartache? All these years later, we find ourselves in similar sandals on occasion. Questions. Discouragement. Heartache. But His story didn’t end there and neither does yours. Hold fast friends...Sunday is coming!!!
