Just six months ago, Meta AI was "animating" 4s of nightmare fuel.
Sora 2 has blown my mind. 15s of video. Consistent drawing between cuts. Fully generated dialogue. But still struggles with paws.

3½ years ago, a server would yield four cartoonish images (see QRT). Now, it is possible (w/ patience) to generate photorealistic images & video on a midrange GPU. Though, it massively sucks that datacenter demand has inflated prices of said GPUs.

Kenya day 6 - No motorcycling today, we took a break to go on a safari and enjoy the pool. I got to see and photograph over 20 different species up close in the wild. An amazing experience.
