My explainer on what I think has happened in UK TV drama over the last 12 months. It's struck a chord in some quarters. Hoping it might provide clarity for those who think they're doing something wrong. They're not - it's the economics. bit.ly/4qsVKca

Michelle and I are heartbroken by the tragic passing of Rob Reiner and his beloved wife, Michele. Rob’s achievements in film and television gave us some of our most cherished stories on screen. But beneath all of the stories he produced was a deep belief in the goodness of people—and a lifelong commitment to putting that belief into action. Together, he and his wife lived lives defined by purpose. They will be remembered for the values they championed and the countless people they inspired. We send our deepest condolences to all who loved them.
There's something deeply disturbing about the most powerful man in the world debasing the Office of President of the US to bully Ilhan Omar in this way. The fact it has become normalised is even worse.
Shoutout to @Ilhan, a strong woman who refuses to be bullied by Trump.
Obviously there’s something wrong with him.

President Zelenskyy has been one of the greatest leaders of our time, leading Ukraine through the darkest period of its recent history, rising up to Russia’s aggression, being an inspiration to the Ukrainian people and ensuring that Ukraine’s voice is heard on the world stage.

This should be a lesson to us. The inability of the mainstream political class to reach those who feel alienated from it needs course correcting. Otherwise a Reform victory here feels inevitable. #trump #farage #Elections
RIP Janey Godley. So funny and so very courageous. Another small light just went out on twitter... Condolences to her friends and family.
The more I see and hear of @AngelaRayner the more I like her. What a breath of fresh air.
"Yes, I'm working class - I like a dance, I like dance music."
@AngelaRayner and @KayBurley discuss the reaction to the video of the deputy prime minister dancing in Ibiza.

Here I go again. Sadly forced to resort to twitter because of terrible customer service. I wrote in May after they cancelled my ticket to Toyko in error, forced the the family to travel separately, then lost our luggage. I wrote to the CEO, CCO, the complaints department....nada
