After taking Jonny's course in 2021, I said it felt like I'd "unlocked cheat codes for the game of life."
This video captures that idea perfectly. Such a great intro to the world of nervous system regulation.
if you're havin' problems I feel bad for you son, i've got 99 problems and i'm complicit in literally all of them
Rob doing what Rob does. Just casually inventing a new genre of writing and proceeding to absolutely nail it.
the story of how i went from a guy who's never written poetry, to writing close to 100 poems in six months, and why i'm betting it's gonna be a crucial part of my business going forward

My partner and I are heading away for a weekend 'creative retreat' to do some planning for our creative projects/businesses.
What are the best podcast episodes about creativity or building fun businesses that can help get us in the zone?
We have a 7 hour drive ahead of us.
Do you ever catch your mind rushing when you have absolutely no reason to be in a rush?
I was taking a shower this morning, but my mind was 15 steps a head of me, lost in future tasks and responsibilities.
I almost missed the experience of taking a shower entirely.

“Once we cease being aggressive toward our emotions, cease trying to change them, once we experience them properly, then transmutation may take place. The irritating quality of the emotions is transmuted once you experience them as they are. Transmutation does not mean that the energy quality of the emotions is eliminated; in fact it is transformed into wisdom, which is very much needed.” — Chögyam Trungpa

Just because something changed your life and you're excited about it doesn't mean you need to become a coach.
Be wary of working too hard towards a future that never arrives.
Allow yourself to swim in the infinite perfection of life as it is now.
[Note to self]

The productivity gurus of the past 10+ years are backtracking.
There are two ways of reading this:
1. The Cynical Take: They made bank from writing books and selling courses about productivity and now they can cash out, re-brand and preach to all their followers about how productivity ain’t it. Expect a wave of work-life-body-mind balance books and courses from them in due course.
2. The Obvious Take: A life optimised for productivity ain’t it.
If someone asked you:
"What happens if you avoid feeling and processing your emotions?"
What would you say?
