Thanks ⁦@Nasdaq⁩ for shining a light on #CeliacDisease Awareness Month in Times Square! It’s time for the ⁦@US_FDA⁩ to require the labeling of Gluten on all food products in the U.S., just like Gluten must be declared on all food labels in 87 other countries.

The position of the US government and the scientific community is that ultraprocessed food consumption is highly tied to our chronic disease crisis that is killing Americans and bankrupting our country.
'THIS IS PROOF': Consuming ultra-processed foods increases the risk of brain damage, according to a new study highlighted by @DrMarcSiegel: Middle-aged adults who eat high amounts of ultra-processed foods are 40% more likely to show small areas of brain damage on MRIs: "They looked at MRIs of the brain and found areas... where blood flow is impacted directly, leading to silent strokes... development of vascular dementia in people that ate a ton of ultra-processed foods. We're talking about hydrogenated oils. We're talking about processed sugars. We're talking about additives, preservatives, chemicals, empty foods—not whole foods."

Every meal starts long before it reaches the table. It starts in the soil, with someone up before sunrise tending it. 🌱 Happy #NationalFarmersDay to everyone who grows what nourishes us.

I don’t often write about myself, but today I shared something deeply personal: my experience fighting cancer while continuing to do a job I love. Cancer tried to make my world smaller. I was determined not to let it. I am incredibly grateful to be cancer-free, and even more grateful for President Trump, my family, friends, colleagues, medical team and faith that carried me through the hardest days. I hope sharing my story might offer some strength to even one person still in the fight. usatoday.com/story/opinion/v…

The U.S. Open is owned by the USTA which is a non-profit. The idea that a day one ground pass is $363 is absurd. The USTA’s mission is to promote the sport of tennis. How is a $363 ground pass consistent with this mission?
A grounds pass ticket for day 1 at the @usopen is currently $363. Some might call it market forces, but in simple terms, it's an outrage. New Substack here. Subscribe for free if you can.

The $363 Day 1 grounds pass price is from Ticketmaster's resale market; the USTA's official face value is $65. cbsnews.com/newyork/news/n… thebiglead.com/us-open-drawin…

A pantheon of superstar candidates made choosing our next FDA Commissioner one of the toughest decisions of my tenure at HHS. I’m confident President Trump and I chose the best person for the job: Dr. Heidi Overton. Heidi brings exceptional judgment, professionalism, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to the American people. I have seen her challenge assumptions, demand excellence, and turn bold ideas into meaningful results. At the @FDA, she will make our food supply safer, modernize drug approvals, unleash American medical innovation, accelerate access to lifesaving treatments, bring greater transparency and accountability to the agency, and restore Gold Standard Science as the foundation of every decision. Congratulations, Heidi. I look forward to working with you to restore trust in the FDA and Make America Healthy Again. 🇺🇸

What a joy to catch up with Jax, an impressive young advocate for celiac disease research. I first met Jax six years ago on Capitol Hill! Even as an elementary school student, he was brave enough to share his experience living with celiac disease to push for stronger gluten free measures in the United States. We can learn so much from our children.

Karoline Leavitt is the rare combination of sharp as a tack, tough as nails, and somehow still the person who can uplift an entire room of people. She’s one of @POTUS’s most loyal warriors, and always made @POTUS and the rest of us look good. Karoline, you are a great friend and a fierce fighter. The White House is losing one of its best. The rest of us are just lucky we got to be in the room while you were there. Proud of you.
Serving as the White House Press Secretary over the past year and a half has been the honor and adventure of a lifetime. I am incredibly grateful to President Trump for granting me so many extraordinary opportunities, such as working in the West Wing and spending countless hours in the Oval Office, flying around the world and meeting foreign leaders, and traveling across our beautiful country and meeting Americans from all walks of life. Most of all, I am thankful to the President for entrusting me with the distinct privilege of speaking on his behalf at the White House podium. I have spoken with great pride about the many historic accomplishments of this Administration, and I have relished holding the liberal media accountable and ensuring the American people hear the truth about President Trump’s successes. Being a mother and welcoming a new baby while working in one of the most demanding jobs in the world has been the most rewarding yet challenging season of my life, to say the least. The truth is since returning to the White House after the birth of my daughter, I have felt in my heart that I cannot be the best mom my two young children deserve while devoting the constant time, energy, and attention required of the White House Press Secretary — and that is why I have ultimately made the bittersweet decision to depart the White House and embark on a new chapter in my life. President Trump has asked me to continue serving as a top advisor to him on the outside, and I will always remain a vocal advocate for MAGA and the Republican Party. Our country is facing an existential threat from an increasingly extremist Democrat Party that seeks to destroy everything great about America, and I believe it is incumbent upon all of us who care about this country to fight back against that threat. My fight is entering a new phase, but it is far from over. Thank you again to the President, the First Lady, and the entire Trump family for your kindness and generosity over the years. Thank you to our amazing Chief of Staff Susie Wiles for empowering me since the day she hired me on the campaign, and to the President’s cabinet, my staff, colleagues, and friends at the White House who work so hard on behalf of our nation. It has been a privilege to serve alongside so many accomplished and impressive people, and I look forward to cheering them on over the next two and a half years. And of course, thank you most especially to my loving and supportive husband and family for the sacrifices they made for me to serve in this role. ♥️🇺🇸

On August 10, 1933, President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed an executive order that established the National Mall and Memorial Parks as part of the National Park Service. For 93 years, staff have ensured that the National Mall remains a place where visitors can honor our nation’s history.
