I have been given the Golden badge in front of more than a thousand of you, and I am still struggling to find the words I want to start by thanking Sam, TJ and Hearty. You believed in the people here and you noticed the small things. Hearty, you read every post by hand, so you know how much work goes into this, and I am deeply grateful that you saw mine. Being named in front of a thousand people is something I will remember for the rest of my life. But the ones I want to thank most are you, the community. There were nights when I was tired and doubted whether anything I made mattered. Then one of you left a kind comment, sent a message or shared something I posted, and I kept going. Every reply, every bit of feedback and every patient word on a rough day carried me further than I could have gone alone. Whatever I contributed, whether it was a post, a reply, a tool or just a few kind words, it only meant something because you were there to receive it. This badge belongs to you as much as it belongs to me. The team shared that they plan to give the Golden badge to one Keeper each week, so I am simply the first. I cannot wait to see who the Hatchery notices next, because I know there are so many of you who deserve it. If you read this and wonder whether your effort is seen, please believe me: it is. I will keep going over and beyond for the dragons and for this community, not for a badge but because this is my home now. I found people here who are kind, curious and generous with their time, and that is rare. A home is something you look after, so I will keep helping and showing up for every one of you. Last week on Pocket Dragons 1/ The seventh AMA on October 23 passed 1000 people live and the team shared the mint plan in a nine post thread. The collection launches on Ethereum with a 6000 supply. The ancient hatchery is set to open this November. There is no date yet 2/ There are two ways in. A community first presale with 2000 NFTs targeted at 0.029 ETH. And a public auction where every winner pays the same final price. The team said partner communities get no discount and pay the same price at the same time 3/ The keeper ledger decides most presale spots. 1800 spots go through ledger rankings and a community raffle. The top 500 keepers are guaranteed spots at the snapshot. Ranks 1 to 100 get five. Ranks 101 to 300 get three. Ranks 301 to 500 get one 4/ Another 500 spots go to a raffle weighted by badges. You need at least one badge to enter and more badges give better odds. Final snapshot rules are still to come from the team 5/ The public auction is open to everyone. Up to 10 dragons per wallet. Reference bid levels run from $10 to $200. Every bid is fully funded in ETH. Active bids cannot be lowered or cancelled. Outbid funds can be reused. It runs 24 hours plus up to 60 minutes of extensions 6/ The lowest winning bid sets the final price for every winner. Example from the team. Five $200 bids win at $90 each. Total paid is $450 and $550 is refundable. These are USD examples. Real payments are in ETH and gas is extra and not refundable 7/ Could a dragon be free. The top 4000 eligible keepers start the auction with provisional $0 allocations. Paid bids replace the lowest ranked allocations first and a higher ledger rank survives longer. The team said free dragons are possible but not guaranteed 8/ Only 16 one of one dragons will ever exist. They cost 50 eggs burned before the reveal or two red dragons after it. The leaderboard gives no priority. After the mint there will also be 173 badges 9/ The team said it takes zero allocation and will buy its own eggs. 30 percent of revenue buys collectibles for monthly rewards by honor score. A planned share of proceeds funds dragon buybacks. The team said nothing can be guaranteed 10/ On the product side sign in with X or Discord is now live on the website. TJ said a performance update and the first version of the collection book are coming within days. The first community keeper badges also went out on October 23 to about 40 keepers 11/ On October 19 Sam teased pocket dragons Tamagotchi as the game side of the project. When I first found pocket dragons, I did not know many people here Keepers replied to my posts answered my questions and made me feel at home I started building small tools because I wanted to give something back to the community that welcomed me. I am just a keeper who likes to build, and this is the way I know how to say thank you Some of the tools started as ideas from you. Some started as problems I ran into myself. Not everything works perfectly the first time, and a few things have broken along the way. Every time, someone was kind enough to tell me and patient enough to wait while I fixed it.
