Love this from Dan Campbell & Jamo.
This is what accountability looks like.
Dan was right there when he came off the sidelines. The player takes it. No drama whatsoever from Jamo. And itβs channeled into a game-winning TD.
This is elite culture playing out in real time.
All the people who objected to the Lakers drafting Bronny probably canβt tell me off the top of their heads who the three players that were drafted after him were and where they currently are.
Blake Miller has been fantastic & is a franchise tackle.
Derrick Moore starting to get more involved & is just scratching the surface on what he'll end up being.
Keith Abney has been asked to do a million things already & is doing very well.
No one in the league has drafted better than Brad Holmes since he arrived in Detroit.

June Jones & Colt Brennan leading Hawaii to a 12-0 undefeated regular season in 2007 is one of the greatest college football stories of all-time.

Theyβre going to use this to lock the ACC and Big 12 out of major nonconference games, and then use βweak nonconferenceβ as justification to put 18 Big Ten and SEC teams into the 24-team playoff.
Fox's Joel Klatt told @dfwticket today that an SEC-B1G scheduling agreement will be announced "almost immediately" once the CFP expands to 24.

Itβs going to be hysterical when the number of big non conference games doesnβt change - or changes minimally. Teams are still gonna schedule to go 10-2 or 9-3 at worst. This is all so stupid.

The most idiotic talking point about the expanded Playoff is that it will lead to better non-conference scheduling. No coach in America is gonna see a postseason format that requires them to play up to FIVE ADDITIONAL GAMES and think βletβs make our regular season more grueling.β

"So, Kirk. A fourth loss for the Vols. What do you make of their playoff case?"
"Well, Chris, I want you to look past the 0-4 record against ranked opponents. This is a team who played an SEC schedule, who could get hot at any minute if the committee just gives them a chance."

"Well Joel, that's a tough loss for the Wolverines on the final week. Now their fate is in the hands of the committee."
"Yeah, Gus. They'll have a decision to make. You see the 3 losses and 0-3 record vs ranked foes, but this is a team still firmly in the playoff, in my view."

It is fascinating how greed destroyed so many great things about this sport in such a short period of time

There is no proper way to do a 24-team playoff as the whole idea is ludicrous.
But if youβre gonna do it, there should be 10 automatic bids for conference champions. Thatβs still gives room for 14 at-large spots. However, we all know thatβs never gonna happen.

Disgusting. Nasty. Repulsive.
I would 100x rather go back to just 2 teams making it than 24.

24-team playoff is a terrible idea spearheaded by greed, and that is a hill I will gladly die on.
There are not 24 teams capable of winning a national title at the end of a college football season.
12? Sure. 24. Never.
None of the biggest brands in college football will ever play a truly meaningful make-or-break regular season game ever again after this season.
