You’re deliberately using the word “job creation data”, a metric that is not used in this country, to prove a myopic view, the official standard metric for labour data in this country is the Unemployment Rate, you never hear Stats SA announcing “Job creation data”.

Eskom give Mines money to buy coal from them its called "CostPlus Agreement". Been done for 70yrs, 3 Majority White Mines: Anglo, Exxaro and South32 got R75bn in 5yrs under Zuma while Eskom saved R3.4bn buying from Guptas (Tegeta) at R150/ton. You are an illiterate Journalist.

I’ll never forget when Zuma’s buddies at Eskom gave Guptas R659m to “buy”substandard coal Eskom couldn’t use. The Guptas then used that money to plug R600m shortfall in their purchase of Optimum Coal Mine (where Duduzane held a 19% stake) after banks had refused to finance them😭

To educate you a little, the supplier of coal at Eskom was Exxaro, a company where Cyril Ramaphosa has shares. They sold coal at higher price which made President Jacob Zuma to axed it because of loadshedding. That's when he brought guptas and eskom started to make profit.

I bought a Cape Town flat for R1.1m two years ago. I now owe R20k for property taxes to the City based on THEIR valuation. Monthly I pay: R3,000 BC levies & fees R2,500-R3,000 water, electricity, refuse etc. On top of the bond and insurance, that’s almost R20k per month.
