Theo Paphitis, "Clearly President Trump has some form of illness or dementia because he's acting like a madman"
"He's a sex offender. He's a convicted felon"
"He's a protector of the pedophile ring of Jeffrey Epstein"
"He's bankrupted companies"
"How the hell did this man get voted in as the President of the strongest nation in the world"
My view:
Paphitis’s disbelief is understandable. A man convicted on 34 felony counts, found liable in a civil case for sexually abusing E. Jean Carroll, and associated with repeated corporate bankruptcies was nevertheless returned to the presidency.
Those facts alone demand a serious discussion about political accountability.
Winning an election gives someone the authority to govern. It does not erase their record, establish their integrity or oblige the public to stop challenging them.

Your regular reminder that only 22 MP's were principled enough to vote against the proscription of Palestine Action.
All 9 SNP MPs, 4 Plaid Cymru MPs & 72 Lib Dem MPs abstained (with the Lib Dems, 66 had no vote recorded & 6 abstained by voting both for and against)
Labour MPs regret voting for Palestine Action ban that led to 4,000 arrests in a year
Backbenchers say the right to protest has been harmed since they were ‘pressured’ into proscribing the organisation as a terror group

On #BBCLauraK Theo Paphitis says Trump has some form of illness or dementia & has protected the Jeffrey Epstein paedophile ring.
Later in the programme Laura Kuenssberg makes a statement that theres no evidence Trump has dementia or protected Epsteins paedophile ring

Remembering Marie Prevost, #BOTD November 8, 1896.
A silent screen star who appeared in 121 films, Prevost's life ended in tragedy. Descending into alcoholism and financial hardship, she died alone and impoverished in 1937, at the age of 40.
Her death, surrounded by sensationalized and fictionalized accounts in Kenneth Anger's "Hollywood Babylon", became one of the tragedies that helped inspire the Hollywood community to establish the Motion Picture Country House and Hospital, founded in 1942, to provide care for those who had given their lives to the industry.
Joan Crawford, in one of her many behind-the-scenes acts of kindness, quietly covered the expenses of Prevost's funeral and burial at Hollywood Memorial Cemetery, (now Hollywood Forever), where she and other prominent Hollywood figures, including Clark Gable and Douglas Fairbanks Jr., attended her service.
A poignant reminder of the fragility of fame, and of Hollywood's eventual determination to "take care of their own."

Picking olives is apparently one of the most severe crimes a person can commit in Palestine.
Israeli occupation authorities have decided to deport 12 international activists who were arrested on Friday while supporting Palestinian farmers during the olive harvest in the village of Kafr Ni'ma, west of Ramallah.
The group consists of five German nationals, four Italians, two Canadians, and one American.
Israeli occupation forces had arrested 17 people in total, including the 12 international activists, two foreign journalists, and three Palestinians, including a woman, following an attack by a group of Israeli settlers who assaulted them and forcibly detained them while they were participating in the olive harvest.

Has the the human race not invented secure, portable, quickly constructed housing?
🚨HORRIBLE: Around 70,000 displacement tents across Gaza have been flooded, leaving thousands of families exposed to the harsh elements.
Floodwaters have also damaged shops, cafés, streets, and already-damaged buildings sheltering displaced families, compounding the suffering caused by Israel’s genocidal war.
There is no "one person" that will "resolve the conflict".
But @FranceskAlbs has contributed to the documenting of a genocide and the global complicity that comes with it, so that future generations can learn the lessons of our inhumanity.
She did this at huge personal cost.
Replying to @NizMhani
She's done nothing to successfully resolve the conflict.
Arguably she is aggravating things even more.

Direct action against Elbit is about saving lives, and the 4,000 people arrested for holding signs are not just showing their support for Palestine but are also defying the complete erosion of free speech.
