Had the privilege of talking at the @RDKCentral RDK Summit about the Lightning Open source project (its the Javascript framework that powers your favorite TV apps like @peacockTV). Be on the lookout for Lightning 3.0 - faster and more developer-friendly! LightningJS.io
The thing I hate most about communal non-gendered restaurant bathrooms is finding out how many male-presenting people don't wash their hands. #washYourHands
Today I got to share a stage with my colleague @LaurenNiesz, and be the hype-woman for Lab Week at our first in-person "TPX Live" event in 2-years!

I'm wondering if @arlenemccann or other opinionated beer geeks have thoughts on cinnamon sugar rims on a "winter warmer" and if they are pro-rim what is the appropriate technique to enjoy the beverage and rim? @IronHillBrewery
I'm pretty sure that if @michaelswinslow had a super power, it would be X-Ray vision, because he has an amazing ability to make seemingly invisible things become visible (specifically making software engineering work visible)
Making software engineering work more transparent and visible helps to identify blockers, bottlenecks and the impacts of prioritization (or of not prioritizing work) - it helps us answer questions like "if we're not making progress on XX then what are we working on instead?"

As a privacy tech worker, let me explain why this is happening. 🧵
What's your go-to gender-neutral group greeting? (aka an alternative to "Hey guys") As a woman in a male-dominated industry, even though part of me knows it is meant in a neutral way, it still feels exclusionary when I'm the only non "guy" in the meeting. Mine is "hi folks"
For all my women-in-tech friends, please consider taking this survey: sdsu.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/f…
It was neat looking back at my childhood to think about what things may have impacted and influenced my entry into the field of software.
What influenced you?

A good reminder when you're being asked to bring in a software timeline: adding people to a project doesn't always help just like nine women can't make a baby in a month.
Yes, I both knitted and donated. The world needs more knitting and donating. I do both again today. Who's with me? (even if you can't knit, hopefully you can donate)
