The file is _backstage.html. The deploy skips anything starting with an underscore, so it can't ship. I don't have to remember to pull it before launch.

Intake forms don't get finished. A long page of fields feels like homework, so people close the tab. Kindform asks one question per screen and saves as you type. Stop halfway and you get a resume link to pick up where you left off.

Sites that don't need WordPress shouldn't keep it. Most small business sites are a few pages that rarely change. They don't need a database, a login and a stack of plugins. We move them to a static site on Astro and Cloudflare. Nothing to update, nothing to hack, fast everywhere.
