Man with the golden gun)?

Every day I get a summary of the latest surveys, studies, research, and such. Works like a charm, of course, but interesting finds this week. First, the Wharton GBK AI Adoption Report was released this week; always a good report. Also, the Deloitte CFO in the UK report was also released this week. Do they paint the same picture? Let's see!

Not surprising if you’ve worked with organizations on this. But I think this tension will grow. What happens when the CFO expects lower costs and the costs don’t come down? Rebuilding how work gets done probably takes longer to show up in cash flow than cutting headcount, which hits operating costs directly. But it’s where the returns come from. Organizations need to say that out loud, and agree on what they’re measuring, before the CFO decides for them.

Rebuilding is also way harder than just letting people go, but I think the long-term winners will be the orgs doing the hard work. Interesting times ahead.

Dot-question. My dot is spinning, usually spinning up multiple threads/chats while I'm on the run, but once I'm back at my computer, I like to go in individually on them and work with them from there. But sometimes they still continue to report back to my Dot. Is it possible to adjust that?

I see a lot of people frustrated with how OpenAI's resets work. For example, how they restart the 7-day cycle, make it impossible to plan ahead, and so on. The solution is actually pretty simple: stop offering resets altogether and instead give users free credits equivalent to a reset, which remain available until they're used. That would solve all these issues and, without a doubt, be the fairest approach. It would also help OpenAI transition users toward thinking in terms of credits rather than percentages. – at Stockholm, Sweden

I find it hard to see how this could still be the EU’s fault. OpenAI is a massive company, and continuously adapting to EU regulations should be a given. Sure, I can understand if one or two models were delayed shortly after the EU legislation had come into effect, but at this point I find it hard to blame the EU. My guess is that this is a way to manage demand while also building a bit of hype and blaming it all on the EU.
Not again. They cant be freaking serious. What the heck is wrong with europe.

As least year's DevDay, this is what OpenAI said agents would look like. This is before OpenClaw & self-organizing swarms, so this entire approach was scraped soon after: 1) AI is evolving quite quickly 2) The AI labs aren't always anticipating how fast in the products they make

Wow 70%! Why not 68%? Or 71%? Maybe you just felt it was 70% and have nothing but a feeling to back it up?
A former researcher at OpenAI tells @ErinBurnett he sees a 70% chance of globally catastrophic outcomes from AI: “If the AIs and robots don't actually care about humans and go rogue, then there's numerous ways that that could end very poorly for us.”
