Can confirm.
The xz package, starting from version 5.6.0 to 5.6.1, was found to contain a backdoor. The impact of this vulnerability affected Kali between March 26th to March 29th. If you updated your Kali installation on or after March 26th, it is crucial to apply the latest updates today.

I fixed your headline for you: "Driver of school bus, with 11 kids on board, in Stratford charged after police say they crashed into a tree". I don't believe there were 11 kids in the tree.

It's a new week, and I have some RMIs to batch.
This.
one of the perverse consequences of fiscal conservatism is that we waste tons of money on consultants because voters balk at paying $100k to a government bureaucrat but snooze on paying $500k to a McKinsey consultant doing the job via a government contract

Some condemn the French ambassador's "undiplomatic" language calling out Canada. I disagree: Canada takes foreign policy seriously only in response to crisis or intense public pressure (see, Iran now). Allies, all irritated by Canada's free riding, *should* publicly criticize us.
The navel-gazing and the neglect points are both true. It's great that a foreign diplomat would come here and say publicly what everyone says in private and knows to be true. More foreign diplomats should say this to Canadian media.

Bought new house. House has smart sprinkler system. Previous owners turned off WiFi. Grass died because… no WiFi. House now has WiFi. Grass is slowly coming back to life. Thank you for coming to my talk, entitled “The Circle of LiFi.”

Hey, I think I called it! - “We now believe we’ve narrowed the cause to a network system failure following a maintenance update in our core network, which caused some of our routers to malfunction early Friday morning”
My guess is another epic core router upgrade failure. It's happened to Rogers before.
