His presence will be so missed on the air. What a range of tastes he brought to life and so generously @RTERadio1
Devastating to hear of the passing of Sean Rocks. A warm and cheerfully erudite presence on air and in person, he wore his learning lightly. As listeners and guests he made us welcome, and he had the gift good teachers have of making us believe we were smarter than we were. RIP.

So many thanks @UEAArchives. Thrilled to have Deakin's poem in the archives. Thanks also to @RobGMacfarlane literary executor for permissions.
How exciting to receive this beautiful volume of poetry from @judeokane inspired by her time working with the papers of Roger Deakin. Visiting 'Olympia' is exactly how it feels to spend time with a writer's personal papers @uearchives @uealdc
