We are so sad to hear of the death of Rob Burrow. Like Doddie, Rob has been a true inspiration for people living with MND. Our thoughts are with Lindsey, their children and all Rob's family and friends.

We are so sorry to hear this news. Over the course of his illness, Rob raised an incredible amount of awareness of MND, inspiring thousands of people to donate and fundraise for new treatments & better support. Our thoughts are with Rob’s loved ones at this difficult time.
It is with deep sadness that the club can confirm that former player Rob Burrow CBE has passed away, aged 41.

Absolutely brilliant letter and as I've said before, reversing this decision is critcally important for people with genetic forms of MND and rare genetic forms of *all* diseases
Do see @AlfDubs’ blistering letter to @NICEComms on their inexplicable decision on the drug Tofersen, licenced for use in the US and EU. @MNDPatients will be denied this life-saving treatment in the UK. So damaging for all potential gene therapies! Do read 👇🏼

This morning @JillADouglas & @sean_uk appeared on @BBCBreakfast to discuss the launch of our research strategy.
It also featured a lovely piece about Doddie & his legacy which we think you'll enjoy!

Today is #RareDiseaseDay.
Although motor neuron disease is considered a #RareDisease, it's not as rare as you might think.
Around 1 in 300 people will develop #MND and with no cure, that means 1 in 300 people will die because of MND.
Please retweet! 💙

This is not ok. A @ERC_Research grant was key to launching my career when I came back to the UK. If we want to remain a strong contributor to global science and innovation, the government needs to fund research bbc.co.uk/news/science-envir…

I ASK EVERYONE WHO SEES THIS TWEET TO PLEASE RT IT.
Tomorrow nurses strike. They will be put through hell by the media, politicians and the establishment.
Ahead of the action please share this tweet if you back the nurses and find it sickening that they are being vilified.
Curse you @BBCRadioScot ! 'Last Christmas' just as I decide on a coffee break #whamageddon . Bah humbug!
