NC's Alamance County has a history of violently suppressing Black political action. @carlibrosseau and I spent months following the course of a BLM movement in Graham. The result is Sound of Judgment, a partnership between @newsobserver and @propublica. newsobserver.com/news/state/…

Hi @JamesPerryNC thanks for reaching out. Counting visits is going to take a thread, so stick with me. In a way, you're right: It's likely not 3, but AT LEAST 3. Visit 1: in-person informed consent, § 90-21.83A, (b1). Visit 2: in-person giving of the abortion drugs, § 90-21.83B

Update: Another hurricane survivor has died while waiting to return home, per her family member’s text to me. @ReBuildNC_gov ‘s mismanagement of the program meant she never got to see her new house. @NCPolicyWatch @jamesperrync @kdeviere @NC_Governor #ncga #ncpol

At @theassembly I'll be working on visual partnerships and creating long form videos for online stories. I'm excited for this next chapter and delighted that I get to keep creating visual journalism in the state that I will always call home.
