Did you know that a #soc2 doesn't have to be a speedbump on your roadmap? We wrote a paper for tech leads that shows how to leverage your first audit to create engineering discipline org-wide - jumpwire.io/solutions/soc2pa…
Replying to @tursodatabase
@tursodatabase had an incident last month where data was leaked between customer accounts
fortunately the impact was limited to a few customers, but sensitive data was definitely part of the leak
how would @jumpwire_ai have protected data in this case? 🧵
data is only decrypted at request time by @jumpwire_ai, not in the database directly, so other @tursodatabase customers would not be able to decrypt any of the leaked data even if they downloaded it
with @jumpwire_ai, you can be confident that data stays protected even through stranger danger🦹
Happy New Year from JumpWire, and a reminder to not reuse passwords in 2024!

Another day, another data breach. It doesn't matter that the compromised access was "read only", attackers still made off with names, addresses, dob, gender, marital status and SSNs.
To all developers: we can do better

There's a growing gap between #compliance programs and technical controls deployed around data at scale. We're changing that by enforcing data security policies without needing any code changes.
