Suppose Sam Altman completes AGI and then flips a coin. If the coin lands heads, he opens 100 sessions. If it lands tails, he opens only 1 session. He explains this setup to each session and asks: “What is the probability that my coin landed heads?” What should the AGI answer?

If AGI must answer heads, meaning it counts its own existence as evidence, then every new AGI should first suspect it’s a fake Chinese AI being benchmarked hundreds of thousands of times. There are far more worlds like that.
