[261107] #차준환 #JunhwanCha’s speech at 2026 KGMA:
Hello, I am Cha Junhwan.
Recently, I have taken on a new challenge: working part-time at an amusement park. Actually, it’s not real—I am playing the role of Seong Daehan, a part-time employee at an amusement park in the sitcom ‘Palace Land’, which has allowed me to try out a new genre.
As I act in front of the camera, I’m experiencing both the excitement of taking on a new endeavour and difficulties of working in an unfamiliar field. This made me realise that K-pop artists are constantly undertaking new challenges every time they perform on stage. They tackle new genres, deliver performances that differ from their previous stages, and show a new side of themselves every time. I think it is truly impressive how they manage to pull it all off so well on stage while constantly taking on new challenges.
I believe that because they aren’t afraid of new challenges and turn them into amazing performances, they deserve to have their names engraved on the ‘Best Artist’ trophy.
