This is Hamas’ insignia and whoever uses it wants you to know they are specifically pro-Hamas supporters
Let’s talk about it

My kids' schools in Israel have done some really cute things relating to Election Day. Aside from learning the dry facts of what an election is, my kids' elementary school held special classes on the importance of speaking nicely with people you disagree with, and of making good choices.
My son's preschool held a vote for what song to sing today.

Let me make a substantive argument, because you and your antisemitic buddy Cenk still believe you are somehow moral and right, when in reality you are recirculating an old antisemitic trope disguised under a progressive cause
The aid agreement is financially far more beneficial for USA than for Israel
Financially for $3.8 billion USA gets $24 billion in direct and indirect return investment into the US economy, which is ~6.3x ROI (~532%) - crazily profitable for the US economy
However 80% of the aid recirculates into the US economy anyway, so effective cost significantly drops. In such a case the ROI can be calculated as even higher and is ~19x (~1800%) which is incredible by any standards
However this is not all. There are also indirect/strategic returns (intelligence sharing, R&D sharing, strategic support, cost saving measures by using Israeli facilities and etc.), so if we take these assumption for ROI, it will be even more insane in thousands of %
If this is cancelled and Israel will be free to choose what to buy and where to invest, the costs for USA will grow while benefits will drop…
And this aid has absolutely no impact on prices inside the US, it’s not how economy works and these matters are unrelated
Lastly, I’m personally for canceling this aid package and have direct economic relations rather then aid which allows the US to dictate Israel some of its decisions

Grok verification of the numbers:

Aid is $3.8B/yr under the MOU: accurate.
Most (now ~75-92%, rising to 100%) must be spent on US equipment: accurate, recirculates to US firms/jobs.
Israeli investment in the US hit ~$24B in 2024: accurate figure, though broader than direct aid returns. 6.3x ROI math holds if counted that way; effective cost lower and ROI higher after recirculation.
Strategic gains (intel equal to multiple CIAs, R&D savings in billions, testing lab value) are widely cited by US officials and yield high estimated returns.
Cancellation would end guaranteed US sales and feedback; Israel could buy elsewhere.
Aid is ~0.05% of the federal budget and has no measurable effect on US prices or inflation.
Hey, @grok - verify each claim here, can be long and not concise

A request for information from the Civil Commission helped counter false claims made by a journalist in Italy that children were not burned on October 7.
Thanks to the quick response of our team, working together with our close partners @yuvharpaz and his incredible team, we were able to provide credible, documented information that corrected the record and led the journalist to publicly apologize.
This is exactly why this work matters: preserving credible data and ensuring that denial and misinformation are met with facts- quickly and decisively.

Two Hamas commanders were killed in recent Israeli strikes in the Gaza Strip, the military announces.
The IDF says one strike on Saturday in Gaza City killed Mohammed Halawa, a Hamas intelligence officer, and another strike on Thursday killed Ahmed Zahir Fuad Abu-Odeh, an engineering officer in the terror group.
"Throughout the war, and particularly recently, the terrorists advanced attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians and acted to restore the capabilities of the Hamas terror organization, in systematic violation of the ceasefire," the IDF says, adding that they were killed to "remove the threat they posed."

Well, they did the meme.

When I was regularly targeted by antisemitism as a kid, ostensibly because of Israel, I didn’t go “if only Israel hadn’t done xyz, I’d be fine”. I knew what it was - antisemites using that as a pretext to go after me and my peers.
Let’s not play Mehdi’s stupid little games.
The revealing admission in @mehdirhasan’s post - which he completely misses, accidentally or not - is that rising anti-Israel hatred fuels rising attacks on Jewish school kids, because they are Jewish.
