‼️BREAKING: EU to Hit Canada with Carbon Tariffs All is fair in love, war and trade! In a stunning blow, the EU is imposing carbon border charges on Canadian steel, iron, and aluminum starting 2027. -$2.8 billion in exports exposed — no exemption for Canada despite its own carbon price. -Internal docs call it “effectively a carbon tariff.” Quebec and Newfoundland hardest hit as Ottawa pushes EU trade diversification. -Canadian producers face new compliance costs and higher prices on metals already slammed by U.S. tariffs. -The EU is weaponizing climate policy into a direct trade hit on Canada. The EU is applying its Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) to Canadian steel, iron and aluminum to stop “carbon leakage”. Our new best friends dont even want our stuff! How brutal is this?

True
Lula packed Brazil’s Supreme Court with his own lawyer and justice minister and had them lock his rival up for 27 years. Back in 2023, after taking power, he named Cristiano Zanin and Flávio Dino to the court. In 2025 both voted to convict Jair Bolsonaro of a coup plot and hand him the sentence. That court had previously wiped Lula’s own corruption convictions in 2021 so he could run again. On election day, Zanin ordered the polls kept open another 2 hours, 3 minutes before they were supposed to close. Both sides had asked, but the call came from Lula’s former defense lawyer. Even after Bolsonaro was barred and jailed, Lula still trailed Flávio 45–47 in the first round and only scraped past him by under 4 points in the runoff. Flávio still refuses to concede. Lula called the win a defeat for denialism and lies. Two of the judges who put his rival away were the men he put on the court. Voters barely picked him. The court cleared the path.

Carney want Canadian taxpayers to pony up tens of billions for his Defence, Security, and Resilience Bank, the projected cost is 118 billion with Canada providing the biggest chunk spread over three years. The Defence, Security, and Resilience Bank (DSRB) is a new, Canada-led multinational financial institution designed to provide low-cost, long-term financing for allied military, security, and resilience projects such as tampons in allies mens washrooms Because Canada is the largest economy among the nine founding countries (following rejections from the UK Germany, France and Italy) its share of the upfront paid-in capital is expected to be significant.

I feel like crying when I see this Sikh, who runs a really good restaurant, first being threatened by Halal fans, and then finding the British police backing the Halal fans instead of defending him This should never be happening in our country Vote Restore ! Have to go now, there's a knock at the door
Again, restaurant owner in London got arrested after being attacked by Pakistani goons who are backed by the Mayor of London. Remember him, he kept being abused by Muslims in London because he refused to serve halal food. London is ruled and run by Islam. This is what happens when you open your borders up to Muslim immigrants.

Oh, I don't know, maybe he did it because you're running on a platform of "let's take all of Elon Musk's stuff and throw him in the gulag"?
Elon Musk is dumping half a billion dollars into Republican races. Why? Because Democrats in Congress won’t be a rubber stamp for Donald Trump and will actually fight to lower costs.

So you're telling me Flavio Bolsonaro went from winning the first round of the elections by a healthy margin, having 80-90% odds of winning the second round, to losing and having his passport confiscated And you wanna convince me Brazil is a democracy?
WTF IS GOING ON!?! Bolsonaro, who won the first round of the elections, but somehow lost last night, has now had the Brazilian Feds confiscate his passport?!?!

Zelensky plainly admits that the Ukrainian military used Starlink for drone warfare, which is against its terms of services as a civilian platform. Anyone calling Elon Musk a liar is either a liar themselves or very blatantly obtuse.

So let me get this straight. Elon provides Ukraine with critical communications infrastructure. He insists that his civilian network shouldn’t be used for offensive strikes. And the response is to demand an investigation into Elon? Have these people completely lost their fucking minds?

Carney heads to Montreal this week to sign onto an EU "associate membership." 🇪🇺 A status that appears in no EU treaty. The terms? To be "defined" in 2027. Germany, France and at least six other EU countries want the label scrapped. Meanwhile 10 EU countries still haven't ratified the trade deal that took effect in 2017. 📜 So what exactly is Canada signing up for? 🤔 And who's it really for, us or somebody's résumé? 🤦🏻‍♂️
What if becoming Prime Minister of Canada was just a stepping stone to Mark Carney’s NEXT job? 🇨🇦🇪🇺 Could Canada’s sudden EU pivot have implications beyond trade and Donald Trump? And what exactly would this unprecedented partnership allow? While there’s no evidence Carney is seeking Ursula’s position, the timing and many coincidences certainly raise some fascinating questions.
