You are allowed to not forgive someone’s actions, but you could also- 1. acknowledge that they made personal growth. Doesn’t mean you’ve forgiven it. 2. not have to start a witch hunt to get other people to continue hating them. Other people are allowed to forgive them.

HOT TAKE: refusing to acknowledge someone’s growth is unfair. if someone has taken accountability & has shown their change over time, continuing to define them exclusively by their past is not even “holding them accountable” anymore, you just want to personally harm them.
