This is absolutely disgusting. These are people who deserve so much better than to be treated like parasites.
#GreekCoastGuard #ChooseLove @chooselove @domdyer70
Last week a horrendous video emerged which showed a Greek Coast guard forcibly pushing back a group of asylum seekers, including a baby, and leaving them stranded in the middle of the sea.

Dinosaur exhibits aren’t quite enough so now characters are the one. All for the animals and conservation… apparently.

It’s Bloomin’ scary. Yes, we can do all we can to change as individual, but we also need our world leaders to get their arses into gear.

These facts are backed by research from those who know about #AnimalWelfare
There is often so much speculation about what does or doesn’t happen with animals, that the scientific facts are overlooked.
Racing horses suffer. That’s it.
#EndHorseRacing @SeanWensley
To assess ethical acceptability of the #GrandNational & horseracing, as we must as a humane nation, we need to fully understand & account for the #AnimalWelfare costs. This isn't the same as 'how much the horses are loved'.
Beyond deaths & whip use, those costs include: (1/3)

*DISTRESSING FOOTAGE*
This is the reality for many animals who race for our ‘entertainment’.
These races are unpredictable and cruel and these dogs deserve better.
Ask @OxfordCity what it’s doing to end this cruelty.

Kevin Boothby has lost the plot and invited 6 #Oxfordshire MPs to watch the 💩show at @Oxford_Stadium. Regular trap malfunctions and this was last night where a dog nearly had its head ripped off. Track licenser @GreyhoundBoard will be the cause of its own demise. #BanGreyhoundRacing #Oxford

Today is the infamous #GrandNational.
Two horses died in this notoriously dangerous race last year. How many more will die simply for people’s 'entertainment'?
It’s #TimeForChange and tighter safety measures.
