Q&A My q was on the difference between men/women “viral experts”. A:the most shared posts (20000+ shares) were written by women using experience (“super spreaders”) and the most often virally shared authors were men using their expertise for legitimacy (“platform builders”).

The study looked closer into two categories of viral experts. 1) “the super spreaders” and 2) “platform creators”. This photo illustrates a typical member of the first group: nurses, using experience, sharing photos and all +5000 shares on Facebook.

I asked a question on how @UU_University would like to market itself toward African higher educational institutions - do we come with certain principles, ways of working, what is our competitive edge?

In the coffee break I reconnected with my African studies lecturer from 20 years ago Prof Per Brandström @UU_University. I remember his lectures to this day problematizing aid and providing perspectives on life. An engaged teacher always makes waves. Thank you Per!
