Why issue this statement though?
To prove that y’all are too holy to meet the President whose government majorly funds your leaders and your work?
Is this the same “we didn’t know” that you issued when activists unearthed information that your then Deputy Leader, Mr @MathiasMpuuga had pocketed 500m of taxpayer cash?

STATEMENT ON HON. ROSE NALUBOWA'S REMARKS
Our attention has been brought to comments made by Hon. Rose Nalubowa by which she stated that she met with Gen. Yoweri Museveni, who according to her, summoned her after elections.
We wish to clarify that as a Party we were never consulted on this matter, and were not aware of any such meeting.

When social media gives you false confidence that you have people to stand with you, just because they are big in government and have been reposting your things...
Did she tell you that she won't pay you the balance? You may even find when your donation is just 1 year old, at least Ms. @JaneBarekye has paid many donations than any other Comptroller in the little time she has been in the office, clearing even those that date back 8yrs ago.
Therefore, mukulu @agribussiness1, remove Barekye from your confusion.
Just know, she also works within the available limited resources and with many priorities.

Maduma is not a victim of an overzealous MP. He is not Parliament accredited. The 250k was obtained by false pretence. A 4 million case is also on record. Hon. @KanyesigyeMerc1 has no interest in his arrest, but when someone keeps abusing and intimidating after taking money, the law must run its course. – at Kampala, Uganda

Maduma has allegedly been accessing Parliament without journalist accreditation while blackmailing MPs and other individuals for money. The @KanyesigyeMerc1 saga may just be the tip of the iceberg!
27-year-old Perez Maduma was sent to Luzira Prison after refusing to take a photo of National Youth MP @KanyesigyeMerc1 at a Youth Conference in Kamuli.
It is alleged that the MP had paid him UGX 250,000 to take her photo, and the matter was handled at City Hall Court. 😄😄🤣🤣
It beyond just 250k, He even got access to the laptop of the MP mbu he wanted to edit photos, later he started threatening that he would expose some. In brief, he wanted to hold the MP at ransom, many photographers are crooks. Let him face the law now.
250k???! How?! @abubakerlubowa ,@bamulanzeki don’t you think we can pay this money and this photographer is released if it’s indeed true ?!
UGANDA–CHINA: EXPLORING STRATEGIC INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIPS IN CLEAN ENERGY.
Hon. Hajjat Aminah Mukalazi @AminahMukalazi visited MingYang Solar Technology Co. Ltd in China to explore opportunities for supporting the company's plans to establish operations in Uganda and contribute to the country's growing energy sector.
During the visit, she was taken on a guided tour of the company's facilities by its Chairman, Tommy, and Mr. Chen Haixun, the General Manager for Uganda. The tour provided an opportunity to appreciate the company's technological capabilities and explore potential areas of investment cooperation.
MingYang Energy is a system integrator specialising in solar thermal, photovoltaic technology, energy storage systems and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, offering solutions that align with Uganda's ambitions to expand its clean energy capacity and diversify its energy mix.
The engagement comes at a critical time when Uganda's installed electricity generation capacity stood at approximately 2,098 MW by the end of 2025, against the Government's long-term target of 52,000 MW by 2040.
Achieving this ambition will require substantial investments in generation, transmission and distribution infrastructure to support industrialisation, urbanisation and the country's broader economic transformation under the 10X growth strategy.
Uganda's energy sector also presents significant opportunities for clean energy investments. Hydropower currently accounts for approximately 85% of the country's electricity generation mix, reflecting the importance of renewable energy in the national power supply.
The Government's long-term energy strategy recognises that a tenfold expansion of the economy will require significantly more reliable and affordable electricity. This includes expanding existing generation sources, strengthening transmission and distribution networks, and developing nuclear power to meet future industrial and domestic demand.
Hon. Hajjat Aminah Mukalazi invited MingYang Solar Technology to fast-track its investment plans and consider establishing operations in Uganda, highlighting the country's substantial and growing demand for electricity, renewable energy technologies and energy storage solutions.
She emphasised the importance of attracting investments that can expand Uganda's energy capacity, support local value addition, facilitate technology transfer, create employment opportunities and provide the reliable, competitively priced electricity required to power industrial growth.

We’ve had a spiritually renewing evening as we shared the good news of salvation at Kampala Crusade organised by @allsaintskla . My main message to the young people was that their current situation isn’t the final destination.
I encouraged them to trust in God because He has good plans for all of us. Ref Jeremiah 29:11.

Back in 2017 while serving as a CLO-Rwizi Region, we initiated a team of exercises under the banner “My Life, My Health.” A dedicated initiative of @PoliceUg founded on 3 objectives:
1. Bridging the gap between the Police and the communities through meaningful interaction and engagement.
2. Networking and building lasting relationships among members of the community.
3.Promoting physical fitness and healthy living as a way of preventing non-communicable diseases.
Over the years, this initiative has grown beyond physical exercise. It has become a powerful platform for building trust, sharing information and strengthening community partnerships. Through these relationships, some crimes have even been prevented before they occur, demonstrating the power of community policing.
Today I joined the team in Mbarara for a hiking experience & it was marvellous !
Thanks to everyone who has kept this moving & growing. The vision remains relevant today as it was in 2017.
Good health, strong friendships and safer communities go hand in hand.
My Life, My Health ! Together, we stay fit, connected and safe.
Shalom! 🙏

We are all used to your lies of the card failed, i formatted the card accidentally, when you want to hold clients at ransom. Let him pay for his deeds. He has been doing the same to other politicians.
Judith my dear, advise your colleagues in the media to be honest. No amount of money is small, when you accept to receive it, do the work. Its alleged that he has been doing this many others, tarnishing the name of the parliament, even when he is not accredited as part of parliament media team

Taking money for a job you never intend to do is obtaining by false pretence. That’s the charge against Perez Maduma, not “refused to take a photo.” @KanyesigyeMerc1 is entitled to pursue the case. Small amount ≠ free pass for fraud.
