For the first time, I went to my local bookstore and picked up a book that includes one of my stories—a long-held dream come true. Thank you @susanws and @YonaZMcDonough for including me in @lilithmagazine’s anthology, #FRANKLYFEMINIST, released TODAY by @BrandeisPress. #pubday

Sagi and his boyfriend were supposed to get married next week.
Sagi rushed to Beeri this weekend to defend the women and children there. He was murdered by Hamas.
His wedding song was going to be by Israeli singer Ivri Lider. Lider came to sing it at his funeral 💔🕯️

Reading #MilanKundera’s The Book of Laughter and Forgetting & The Unbearable Lightness of Being helped motivate me to study abroad in Prague in college. My view of his work changed as I got older, particularly his portrayal of women, but my admiration of his voice remained. RIP.
What beautiful words … Never thought I could get this verklempt from an Amazon review. 🥹
