TVA's CEO is one step closer to making a major resource decision without input from TVA's regulator. TVA published a final EIS to replace the Cumberland coal plant northwest of Nashville with a ~1.5GW gas plant and new gas pipeline.

Lol, there isn't a single "rate structure" for TVA. Rates are set by 153 local utilities, none of them are 6-7c/kWh. My bills from Knoxville Utilities Board are 12.4 + $21/mon fixed fee kub.org/bills-payments/under….

Meanwhile, as TVA Board members were talking about "ethics" and "inclusion" young people w @sunrisemvmt trying to get the federal utility to take action about climate change and their future were being "handled" by the police. Everyone associated w TVA should be ashamed.
