Sadly, this is the harsh truth of it all. The amount of times I've seen vtubers take a legitimate misunderstanding and turning into a full blown thing where they spread it every person they know is insane. This space notoriously bad with communication and a lot if people would rather start a smear campaign over hurt emotions than face them like an adult. No one wants to understand the "context" of a situation and would rather spend their energy practicing mean girl behavoir. This space is honestly a bad game of telephone in regards to how info spreads. I am half and half on vtubing being a "community". Honestly, I've always been more im the camp of we all use the same medium but are just a part of the streamer communities. But I think that vtubers DO interact more publically with each other than fleshtubers (correct me if I'm wrong) The longer you've been in the space the more isolated you become realizing that growth stems from hard work by yourself as opposed getting popular via association. I hope people read this message and take a chance to talk to people that you have beef with and have a honest conversation. I think this should be a lesson on empathy, understanding, and making a opinion for yourself than let a rumor speak for you.
