Happy Disability Pride Month ♿️🖤 This month will always be my favourite as a content creator because I get to be even louder about something I’m passionate about and that deserves recognition. I know I speak often about my own experienced as an invisibly ill/disabled individual — but July isn’t just about being loud about my own experiences, but others as well. It’s about amplifying the voices of disabled individuals, embracing our disabilities in our own ways and reclaiming visibility, rejecting shame and internalized ableism, educating others on disability issues and so much more. I’m looking forward to continuing to use my platform to speak about such topics and uplift others in the disability community! Remember that disability is INTERSECTIONAL, and that dynamic/invisible disabilities exist and are valid.
