There’s a week left to have your say about the future of the BBC, as part of the public consultation into the Charter Review: dcms.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/fo…
There’s an online networking event for freelancers hosted by BBC Audio North, where I work. It’ll be a good opportunity to meet the team on the 5th of March. Details are in the image below, including QR code.

White smoke! The 133 Cardinal electors gathered in the Vatican’s Sistine Chapel have elected the new Pope. He will appear soon at the central window of St. Peter’s Basilica.
I also had this today 🤦🏻♀️ Number blocked 🚫
Argh! I just cocked up with a spam/scam call. My mobile rang, a number I didn't recognise. I answered. An obviously automated female voice said
"I want to talk to you about work. Please add me on What's App." Then rang off.
As I answered, they'll now have logged that my number is real. So I (& anyone else who's done the same) now need be vigilant for a wave of spam messages and calls coming my way.

Friendly reminder to the British media that the next week is not the only time to hire disabled journalists. Disabled people are for life, not just for the Paralympics.
I went to Basel last year - it's a lovely picturesque city on the Rhine 🇨🇭
