On this day in 1988 (September 18, 1988), the Buffalo Bills defeated the New England Patriots 16-14. Inside the NFL was in Buffalo for this one. Cornelius Bennett is interviewed after the highlights. #BillsMafia

I can’t reiterate this enough once the sports chapter closes, life keeps going, but the mental strain is real. You never know what someone is battling behind the scenes. Check in on your teammates. RIP Dre. 🕊️

RIP Deandre Johnson… I played little League Football with him at Palmetto Raiders Optimus and I just knew he’d be a great football player as he got older. My heart and prayers go out to his Family during this difficult time. You’ll be missed Dre Day 5/27/1999 - 11/22/2025 💔💔

If we had a solid defense we’d win the NATTY. Heupels offense is one of the greatest I’ve ever seen.
agreed! #CBennett4HOF
Why did Buffalo use you more in coverage from year 2 & cut down your rush opportunities? Did that bother you or did you go along with it to help the team? You had a great career but I think bias against Buffalo & sack numbers are keeping you from the HoF. #CBennett4HOF
