FSU fans were called “lunatics” for saying this exact thing 3 years ago btw.
Now you have a P4 HC saying it in the out in open. Amazing anyone still takes this system seriously.

When #NotreDame freshman RB Jonaz Walton was in 5th grade, Miami LB Mohamed Toure was already playing college football. ☘️
And that's just 1 of 3 fascinating storylines surrounding the No. 1 Hurricanes heading into Saturday night's showdown with ND.

Coach Norvell, I just want to take a moment to thank you for everything you’ve done for me and my family during my time at Florida State. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to play at Florida State University, believing in me, and seeing something in me even when I may not have seen it in myself. You’ve played a major role in changing my life, not just on the field but off the field as well, and for that, I’ll forever be grateful.
I want you to know that your impact on me goes far beyond football. The lessons, conversations, guidance, and genuine love you’ve shown me and my family are things I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life. I’ll never forget the day you yelled at me for thrity minutes straight at practice for running out of bounds. 😂😂 It's one of those moments I'll always look back on and laugh about, but it also shows how much you cared about pushing me to be the best version of myself.
I wish you nothing but success and happiness in whatever comes next. I know greater days are ahead, and I have no doubt that God has something special in store for you.
And just like you would always tell me, keep your head up and your chest poked out! Never forget the impact you’ve made on so many lives, including mine. Thank you for everything, Coach. I appreciate you more than words can explain, and I love you! ❤️🍢

I still contend that Florida State getting shafted in 2023 is one of the travesties of college football. They were literally an undefeated power 4 champion and had the best defense in the country. They just beat a top 15 team by 10 points in a neutral site with a new QB. But FSU didn't make as much money for ESPN as Alabama or Texas (especially with a potential Alabama Texas rematch) so they were left out.
Jokes on the committee though. They didn't get that Texas Alabama rematch they wanted. Both teams lost.
Tell me - what blue chip athlete would want to play for a team who can go undefeated and still get left out of a 4 team playoff? It's no wonder FSU struggled after that.
It was unforgivable and did perhaps irreparable damage to the sport. I know Texas beat Alabama by 10 at their place, but it would have been more forgiveable to put Alabama in over Texas than to put them both in over FSU. FSU should have been a lock. – at Maple Bluff, WI

I’m not a big conspiracy theory guy when it comes to officiating, but watching the calls Miami gets at the end of these games is absolutely insane.

This might be the worst college football season since I can remember. There is zero elite teams, the ranked teams don’t even look good. NIL has created a lot of parity but the other issue is, it’s created a lack of hunger. College kids ultimate goal was to make it to the league so they can change their families lives, now they get paid that money from the jump and don’t care. You’re seeing it translate into the NFL as well. Idk where this goes from here but I don’t have a good feeling about it. Sports are going downhill fast.
Sport is ruined honestly. It’s been getting progressively worse each of the last 5 years.
Quality of play is so much worse, got back and watch a game from pre-2020 it looks like a different sport entirely.
