So many field campaigns since 2018 when Jorge and I first started trampling around wetlands. mud pits, mosquitos, canoeing up stream, faulty equipment- none of those have impacted us, still smiling…still got it.
You make the best friends in the #wetlands !! Excited to be sampling with @wetlandlab in Marcell Exp Forest @usfs_nrs @forestservice

One of the best parts of this project is working with wetland teams across the US. Thanks Wisconsin and @profdesani for kicking us off-the wetlands were beautiful and the cheese curds delicious. Minnesota here we come!
Thank you @profdesai for showing us your beautiful #wetlands sites this week. We are excited to contribute to @AmeriFlux @doescience ! #MUCCingAbout @wetlandlab @CSUmicrobiome

I am beyond thrilled to announce I will be joining @CUBoulder as an Assistant Professor in August 2024! My lab will focus on understanding the microbiome's impact on health using strain-resolved computational methods. Accepting students to start in Fall 2024- tell your friends!
Join us (myself and @xerantheum and others) at 1 pm EST on Thursday June 22nd (today) for a virtual session on microbiome diagnostics. Come with questions, we would love to see you!

Hey PIs don’t you love it when a trainee gives a talk 300 times better than you know you could. Bursting with pride and loving all @KaelaAmundson new analysis and vision towards mapping the microbes in engineered energy systems via MAP-Frac. @mj_wilkins
Hey #ASMicrobe what else are you going to do at 8 am on a Sunday morning? Come check out our model ecosystems for climate change session w/ @sgtringe @ChakrabortyRomy @biogeochem! Happy Father’s Day to all too.
Attending #ASMicrobe? Come join us:
(1) Sat 3 pm- Research Design for Climate Related Studies (Rm 361 GRB)
(2) Sun 8:40 am- Model systems reveal the future of climate change session (Grand Ballroom C)
(3) Sun 2:45 pm- Kaela Amundson in Applied Energy Environments (399 Hilton )
Excited to kick off this project and learn from our incredible team!
So excited to launch this project, in collaboration with @NoahFierer @mgooseff @harmstk @IrinaOvereem @ArcticWebb @kcwrighton, Tyler Jones, and many collaborators. Permafrost Dream Project.
Another great day of microbiome science! Kicked off with force by @science_punx - a systematic approach to outline fails in microbiome workflows for eukaryotes, with well vetted solutions. Mind blown. Great work not on Twitter Audra Crouch and team!
I’m loving my time with @OSUmicrobiome at the Midwest microbiome conference. Great talk @CooperstoneLab - really neat to see her platform of interactions between tomato chemistry, microbiota metabolism, human nutritional outcomes! Timely too with summer around the corner.
Loving being part of my @CSUAgSci community that is dedicated to empowering related agriculture and climate change. Great panel! Thanks to @JanPhytobiomes for inspiring.
Congrats to all! Many thanks to everyone who came out and shared their work. Another great #FRMS2023
Congratulations to @jrr_microbio and Jared Ellenbogen on their awards! #FRMS2023
