The one upcoming game that’s completely blown me away and a game that I think will be a literal game changer is @avalon Play attention to this one you Sherlock’s hunting for alpha. This game could be one of the greats. Will be one of the greats is my bet. This is one you should absolutely pay attention to as you start to see more about it. It’s still early days for the game but the promise is something else. The absolutely stacked team is building an incredible metaverse meets mmorpg that looks absolutely ground breaking. The cofounder of EverQuest, the godfather that spawned a million open world RPGs (including WOW) is one of the cofounders of Avalon. The world building potential here is startling. It’s the closest I’ve seen to a full blown Ready Player One experience bar non. You will seamlessly jump between high fantasy and cyberpunk worlds at a blink of an eye. All the NPCs are driven by AI and interactive like I’ve never seen before. These ai driven characters creates an incredibly immersive experience. What the team are trying to do here (and imo already succeeding) is pretty startling. This game is so empowered by an AI fusion it opens up a new kind of gameplay for both web2 and web3 players that’s never been done before. From building the real life NPCs to turbocharging the UCG tools that will make this an open world metaverse with the potential to take on the likes of Roblox, this game is a wet dream made real, all enabled by the latest AI tech that unlocks all of this. AI is not some add on gimmick here to sell a mint, or grab your money, it’s part of the core foundational tech m enabling this game to exist and used in everything from the NPCs to the UCG tools that allow players to build their own worlds. The graphics also outstanding. Just on the visuals alone the game is bound to pick up a lot of hype. Like really insane graphics. What gets me excited are the metaverse experience. The build your own world mechanics are made to grab UGC, all linked together by total web3 integration (game going deep into web3 with tokenomics and player asset ownership ). This is not a game designed to begin and end with a single campaign, but will be a full universe of player built content tradable and unlockable through web3 (nft). However there will be a strong multi hour core game built by the studio, but the emphasis will be the many worlds and experiences built by players. Am not normally into metaverse games. Thought we too early in web3 to see this fully realized. BUT Avalon game has me converted into a believer. I first thought the demo was some sort of joke it was so good, but digging into it, having multiple meetings with team and actually seeing the private in-game footage has blown me away. If game is realized the way the team and @SeanPinnock (aka Morpheus) envision, this game is going to capture a whole new generation of addicts. I haven’t seen anything so exciting personally since coming into web3 gaming. Full on backing this game as the next big thing. For me this is my next @Pixelmon kind of bet. The ceo @SeanPinnock (aka Morpheus) makes you want to back this game because he’s so passionate about building this, it’s clearly his entire life purpose. Great to back a game where the team themselves are in it for the legacy, to do something not because it’s easy but because it’s hard and by doing it you change the game. I want to do whatever I can to make sure this game is born and I can lose my life playing it. This is my number one up on web3 gaming pick. Insane potential here. The game is still in deep dev. So no you can’t yet mint an nft, or play it, but after many years of development game is shaping up and there will be ways to participate in what they are building soon. And even early this is mind blowing. Looking forward to 2024 because we going to start to see what these guys have been cooking up for us. Def potential to be one of the defining, category killer web3 games.
