New York's old rainfall record stood for 150 years until 2021, and has now been broken three times.
Hot air holds more water vapor than cold; flooding follows fossil fuel combustion as night follows day.

Unbelievable temperatures up to 38.9C in the Chilean Andine areas in mid winter ! Much more than what Southern Europe just had in mid summer at the same elevation: This event is rewriting all climatic books

We've just gone from "pictures of rivers in Northern Italy without water" to "pictures of rivers in Northern Italy with too much water" and yes, that sound you hear is climate deniers going "See? There is no climate change. Average precipitation levels are stable!"

This is the flood report you won't see on the news.

We need radical change.

It's incredible seeing the transition from degraded, single-thread streams into expansive beaver-engineered wetlands. And it only took a handful of #beavers to do this. Imagine what the continent and the rivers looked like prior to the Fur Trade, back when beavers were abundant!

A flyover of a stream that beavers moved into and engineered into a complex wetland that spans the entire valley bottom.
