I still can’t forget this one bounty I participated in
After making my original post as an entry, I bullposted about the project countless times… I even onboarded my friends to use their app.
Bro, tell me why I didn’t win 😭
Another participant made really good content. This babe even created a Space that the founder joined, and they still didn’t pick her.
Instead, they picked people from God knows where. One of the winners had like 5 likes and just a few comments, if I remember correctly.
PS: It was an African project. Y’all know the country I’m talking about. 💀
So the crash out is real

i posted the same contents on different platforms just to see how the algorithm treats it.
here’s what i found :
> facebook: pushes posts that get likes, comments and shares from people you’re connected to. if your friends interact with it, it travels further.
> x: pushes trends as well as posts that get early replies and quotes. if people talk under it fast, it travels more.
> tiktok: learns from what you watch and finish. if you watch dance videos, it shows you more.
> youtube: rewards watch time. if people keep watching, it recommends the video more.
> instagram: shows you more from accounts you interact with. popular posts get pushed further.
> linkedin: favors posts that make people stop and read. longer posts with a clear point usually do better than short ones.
same content can do well on one and die on another because the rules aren’t the same.
alot of pages post the same way everywhere and that’s where they got it wrong.
One of my biggest struggle on X is understanding how the algo works.
You see folks with less followers do more numbers on impressions and engagement.
Then there's you who does your best to engage, create, and support others.
You still find yourself struggling with low impressions and engagement.
Begs the question: how does X algo work?

The moment you stop chasing perfection and start valuing consistency everything changes even the smallest effort repeated daily compounds into something meaningful
You don’t need to do everything right you just need to keep moving forward
you lost the match and blamed your luck again? 😅
on @quipgg there's nowhere to hide
because it is same physics for both players, nothing random to save you
