VCUarts Qatar has launched a competition for its undergraduate students titled, "Creativity in Response to the Pandemic." More information can be found at bit.ly/2CkQzrX

The competition is exclusively for V C U arts Qatar undergraduate students. The submission deadline is August 15, 2020. The first prize is $1000. The second prize is $500. For more information please click on the link in the copy. The illustration in the background is by Graphic Design and MSA in design graduate Hazem Asif.

Faculty, as we think about how the current situation is impacting our students, it goes beyond moving home and leaving friends. Many students are leaving their mental health care providers and the only support network they have. This is a time for compassion.
