This was last night's cold open on SNL. Please share it. Pete Davidson spoke from the heart about children suffering. It was powerful, passionate, and honest. Give yourself a minute. You'll need a tissue or two ...

Hey @NancyMace 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼
An important clip to keep in mind as Republicans move to potentially make Jim Jordan speaker of the house while pretending not to know anything about this scandal 👇🏽

Having a huge platform to lie from doesn't make lies the truth; the same way that being rich doesn't magically flip your hat in the right direction when you go on camera playing fake cowboy with your hat on backwards. 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇🤠

Hey @JimmyPatronis defend this 👇🏼
REPORT: Under Trump, the IRS audited low-income workers at a HIGHER RATE than millionaires. An underfunded IRS can't afford to audit wealthy tax cheats, and is forced to focus on the simpler tax returns of tax-credit recipients. That's exactly what MAGA Republicans want.

This.
if "American politics" were broken, we'd have seen things like this happen when Democrats controlled the House but we didn't what's broken, very specifically, is the Republican Party

Truth
This is actually a good reminder that when Republican so-called moderates demand bipartisanship, what they're really insisting on is Dem help in whitewashing GOP extremism and achieving distance from it.

“The data underscores that when the IRS is underfunded, wealthy tax cheats benefit in a big way. An underfunded IRS is what Republicans are advocating for.” Sounds a lot like you @JimmyPatronis.
New data from @SenateFinance shows nearly 1,000 ultrarich individuals sometimes didn’t even bother to file federal taxes.
When Republicans in Congress push IRS funding cuts, it's to protect wealthy tax cheats at the expense of working people. washingtonpost.com/opinions/…

Of the many moving and brillian video messages about the Russian genocide in Ukraine, this by @United24media stands apart. Think about this when considering that Republicans yesterday, on the 88th anniversary of the Munich Accord, voted to strip funding for Ukraine from the budget.
October 1,9 am. Ukraine will observe the minute of silence. We collected the last words of Ukrainian defenders who died defending our country.

ICYMI: Nearly half of the 500,000-plus people who have lost Medicaid benefits in Florida are children. FL also has not taken advantage of available federal flexibility to improve the redetermination process, as every other state in the nation has done. floridapolitics.com/archives…

This is exactly why Burisma wanted Shokin to stay as prosecutor (as Archer testified) — the guy who replaced him started investigating Burisma. Biden’s urging to remove Shokin was bad for Hunter’s business interest, and this letter just proves that.
JUST IN🚨: Hunter Biden signed off on a Burisma memo to the Ukrainian prosecutor who replaced Viktor Shokin that warned not to continue further investigations. "Moreover it is imperative that allegations of criminal activity made to the media about Burisma and/or Nikolay Zlochevsky come to an end." Signed: Hunter Biden.

He basically said “fuck you” to government employees, fed contractors, and military families. He’s got his money and although the GOP is too monumentally incompetent to do their jobs correctly he doesn’t give a shit what happens to millions of Americans. @RepWilliams is an ass.
This morning: @RepWilliams says he will take pay during a government shutdown, adding “I’m not independently wealthy.” #NY22 He says the pain suffered by federal workers is “real,” but that furloughed government employees shouldn’t expect “a huge amount of sympathy.” @cspanwj

Hey @JimmyPatronis here’s who the IRS is going after. The middle class can rest easy. 👇👇👇
SCOOP: Senate Dems have obtained extraordinary new data from the IRS on tax avoidance by the super-rich. Nearly 1,000 people who earn over $1 million per year didn't file tax returns at all for at least one year from 2017 to 2020, the data shows. washingtonpost.com/opinions/…
