We’ve seen grocery prices increase by around 30% in the last six or seven years alone. We’re going to deliver a city-run grocery store in each borough—five in total—that will have the staples of a shopping experience and an essential basket of goods discounted by 30% compared to typical retail prices.
That is something New Yorkers will be able to feel in their pockets. They’ll be able to save hundreds of dollars on an annual basis, knowing that the city is looking to actually deliver for them on something that is nonnegotiable in their lives, which is healthy, accessible food.

Today is the the anniversary of his famous mugshot — that was because he was indicted for investment fraud. What's fascinating about that story is that he was scamming his own friends. He convinced his own friends to invest hundreds of thousands of dollars into a tech company, and then he didn't tell them that he was getting a commission off those investments.
If Ken Paxton is willing to scam his own friends for a quick buck, what makes you think he's not going to scam you in the United States Senate?
