Whitewater rafting down the Kern River in California! The region’s rain and record snowpack has the river flowing strong. Local people are excited about the positive impact on the economy that depends on tourism and recreation. Shout out to @kernriver for the ride!

Water everywhere! It's been pretty wet in the Kern River Valley. Our trips kick off on April 1 and we can't wait for the sunny days. #kernriver #goKRO

We are very excited to get back to this section of the Upper Kern river. We haven't had access to it since 2019. With our snowpack over 100%, it's going to be a wonderful whitewater season. #goKRO #kernriver

Remarkably clear view from space today of California. The snowpack is DEEP, rivers are gushing and vegetation is amazingly green.

California's Sierra Nevada range 80 days ago versus today. These mountains likely currently hold the biggest snowpack on the planet.

Some of the latest model runs are forecasting one of the wettest 10-day periods I have seen in years across California. The potential is off the charts for huge precipitation amounts, with a strong Pacific jet stream steering multiple atmospheric rivers into the state.
