I open-sourced Kn-Live-Dbg, a Windows kernel research tool. Kn-Live-Dbg looks like a debugger, but it is not a debugger. It uses a kernel driver to provide a WinDbg-like live kernel debugging experience from a TUI console. → Supports most basic WinDbg kernel commands → Native kernel symbol/type inspection, including dt-style workflows → Enumerates major kernel callback surfaces, including object filters, registry/process/thread callbacks, and minifilters → Supports virtual and physical memory inspection/editing → Built for anti-cheat and Windows security research It does not provide any Code Integrity bypass. The prebuilt binaries are test-signed for lab use. For real deployment, sign the driver yourself with EV + attestation signing. repo: github.com/kernullist/kn-liv…

Two critical PHP vulnerabilities (CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619), a leak before the patch and millions of PHP servers on the Internet. We used VirusTotal Internet Scanning to measure who is exposed, what they run and how to cut the window: blog.virustotal.com/2026/10/…

The China state-aligned threat actor Storm-0940 used the agentic AI penetration testing framework ARTEX to automate attacks targeting hundreds of organizations globally across a broad range of industries. Microsoft Threat Intelligence assesses that Storm-0940 was responsible for the recently disclosed ConnectWise supply chain compromise of a multitenant application. msft.it/6018aakEE Our investigation found that Storm-0940's use of ARTEX accelerated the speed of compromised application abuse to authenticate to target environments through applications that had already been granted access, allowing the threat actor to operate without requiring an interactive user sign-in. AI-accelerated follow-on activity included reconnaissance, application credential changes, and attempts to modify privileges that could enable expanded or persistent access. Read our blog for a detailed analysis and indicators of compromise (IOCs), along with Microsoft Defender detections, protection recommendations, and guidance on investigating service principal sign-ins and unexpected application credential or privilege changes.

Since I'm only working on this in my spare time, progress is pretty slow, but I think I'll be able to release it before long. I'm also bringing over as many features from KnLiveDbg as possible.

The details of the long awaited KVM Escape are published. PwnEscape leads to VM escapes across multiple hypervisors due to a super cool Linux networking bug. CVE-2026-99999 is a 9.3 CVSS critical rated KVM escape ⛓️ pwn.ai/blog/pwnescape
Introducing PwnEscape 🦉: a full KVM guest-to-host escape via a Linux kernel networking flaw affecting industry standard hypervisors. CVE-2026-99999 went from untrusted VM code to host-kernel memory reads, controlled writes, and root command execution. More below:

We finally got this series out. We tried to simplify Linux kernel exploitation for those interested in getting started. There are plenty of resources out there, but my impression is that they are written for experienced people, not for beginners in this complex field. In this series, we tried to do something close to real-world kernel exploitation, but much simpler, so people can use it as a first contact with Linux kernel exploitation. I hope people like it, and we will be available to help anyone who wants to reproduce all the content.
Have you ever wanted to get started with Linux kernel exploitation? We wrote a 4-part blog series aimed at newcomers, going from setting up the environment to bypassing SMEP and KASLR. We exploit a real Linux kernel vulnerability step by step, debugging every crash along the way. Introduction to Linux Kernel Exploitation: Vulnerability and Environment – Part 1 allelesecurity.com/intro-lin… Introduction to Linux Kernel Exploitation: Triggering the Vulnerability – Part 2 allelesecurity.com/intro-lin… Introduction to Linux Kernel Exploitation: Exploitation – Part 3 allelesecurity.com/intro-lin… Introduction to Linux Kernel Exploitation: Mitigation Bypass (KASLR and SMEP) – Part 4 allelesecurity.com/intro-lin…
