Got a website?
Try:
PageHum instead of Google Analytics or Sentry.
Less capable, but easier to get going and cheap! Free for most. “
Not confusing, not weird; just the basic stats you care about.
Will add tons of features to all tiers (including free) as we move forward.
It is crazy.
When the headphones are on playing my Discover Weekly from Spotify, I see only an amazing future.
Anyone else feel that?
Yo builders... what are you working on this weekend?

Go check it out. You might be next for a freebie. Anyone super interested in dialing in their projects and using AI will appreciate it.
My products that got unique sessions/views for the last week:
- Airframes (track planes)
- The Collector (track your comic collection, eventually other things)
- Velocity (track and manage your projects)
- PageHum (track your website)
- SoloHum (secretive, but track your businesses)
I guess I like to track things! 😁

Yeah this drives me nuts. I don't want to drop $40-60k on hardware and then have to TUNE THE CRAP out of it all day/night either.
Right now the subs are still cheaper, at least in a 2-4 year timeframe.
But then, when new models come out that are heavier (though I'd argue, they'll start to trend down into specialty models instead of bulkier LLM models), the hardware can't fit the bill.
It's a weird crap shoot.
I'd love to self-host everything myself... I've done some efforts to do that, but every time I start to, I realize it costs more to keep up.
Kimi K3.1 just dropped, here is my honest review.
1. We will finally be able to run an Astra level model at home, but here is the catch. It goes open weights by Nov 4, but running it yourself is $60K+!!
At 8-bit, 2.8T params is about 6 Mac Studios with 512GB each, before you add any context.
2. The Kimi coding plan has a monthly cap too, so one heavy day can burn the whole month and you're stuck. Kimi's API is cheap, but Claude Max is still way cheaper than paying per token for the same work.
3. Compared to Opus 5.5, I think K3.1 lacks thinking. It's just alright. Maybe my bar is too high after Opus 5.5, but I'd rather pay Claude than Kimi.
It's still the closest we've had to an open weights Astra. Huge congrats to Moonshot for doing this.
I'm on the wall. Sadly I chose one of my lesser creations! I so wish I could create more than one, or at least replace what's on the wall ;)

Breaking my own records is easy. Now I'm hoping to break them with my own product screenshots.
Just a reminder. The top 100 on the waitlist get Systune (and any upgrades) for life.
If you're on the list, you should consider sharing on X to make sure you stay on the top 100.

I hate that X penalizes posts that include external links, but that's why it is here in the comments.
As the first paying subscriber, if you are building in public (#buildinpublic, #buildinginpublic) then it is a no brainer to setup and list on iBuildInPublic.
But more importantly, you should sign up and pay, and I'll tell you why:
1. I was the first paying subscriber, and I've seen my listed products gain thousands of views.
2. I have gain some recognition as a larger contributor to the community, and this in turn has given me a TON of connections and interactions.
3. I put my money where my mouth is, so I have to deliver. It forces me to work harder and deliver even harder than I would have before.
4. I'm supporting @acadictive and ensuring the success of iBuildInPublic, but even more importantly the community he has created.
5. I get access to secret things I wouldn't have before. You'll find out when you pay.
6. I get huge happiness knowing that I'm supporting a community that deserves it.
7. Every new person that comes, sees my stuff (companies, products, feed, etc).
8. I get first access to what @acadictive is making and get immediate exposure.
9. I get to connect with incredible people building incredible stuff. Sure, not everyone has the commitment we do, but the access to so many is quite nice.
10. I'm not alone there. Each one of you that joins gets to find me there and boost my stuff :P (no, not selfish at all 🤪). Same goes for you.
Moral of the story -- if you are building something and you're not there and paying for the service, you're missing out on something quite explosive.
People keep asking me if iBuildInPublic.com is free.
Short answer: YES. Many features are free, and they’ll stay that way forever.
The longer answer: Premium unlocks more features and higher usage limits. And there’s a LOT more coming to the platform.
One thing, though…
Running a product at this scale isn’t easy or cheap.
So if you find iBuildInPublic useful, or simply want to support a community built by a solo builder, consider upgrading.
It really helps me keep building. ❤️
Believe it or not but Codex w/ GPT 6.1 Sol on xhigh has been churning out at a better rate than Claude Opus 5.5 on high.
Getting a ton more usage for standard / well-defined tasks out of it.
They're both still under performing since the recent 2 week craziness, but it's nice to see Codex able to churn out stuff for multiple days without blowing out the limit.
If you asked me that 1-2 weeks ago, I'd say the complete opposite. Disappointed, but this is where things are going.
Who knows what the hell is going on, but it is times like these that I'm grateful for paying for 3-4 platforms at the same time.
