Congrats on Flutter 3.47.9! 🎉 Really appreciate the update!
We just upgraded to 3.47.9 and shipped Keyscope v0.70.0, featuring 40 curated color themes for deep focus and eye comfort. Our desktop UI has never looked more polished and premium. All made possible with Flutter!
Keyscope v0.70.0 is now available!
v0.70.0 arrives today!
- Workspace Theme Engine with 40 Curated Themes
- Multi-Buffer Text Editor & Scratchpad
- Real-time Security Audit Email Alerts, License Activation & In-App Notifications
- Moved the Dev Toolkit to a dedicated bottom panel for a more streamlined workflow
v0.70.0 also introduces the Multi-Buffer Text Editor & Scratchpad to the Dev Toolkit, alongside the Workspace Theme. Edit notes, Kubernetes manifests, and payloads directly in the IDE with instant disk persistence, per-file auto-save, and in-place renaming.
With the new Modern themes, Keyscope now offers 10 Dark and 10 Light themes.
Keyscope respects user preferences and strives to better protect developers' eyesight.
While adding these themes, we also optimized the codebase by removing 30% (62k+ lines) of total code.
Keyscope v0.70.0 is coming soon.
Here is a preview video of one of the highlights:
• New workspace color themes
• New Light mode + Dark mode
Unlike previous versions, we hope this release serves as an opportunity to improve the inconvenience caused by UI mismatches.
We have expanded the Keyscope website from English-only to 10 languages for a more comfortable browsing experience. It automatically displays your language for convenience, and you can switch it anytime at the top right as shown.

This chart could serve as a useful reference for Keyscope to determine and prioritize the sequence of databases to be added to the data stack.
The @stackoverflow Survey 2026 is out!
Postgres is still the #1 database, and Supabase is now at #11 going up to 8% from 6% last year!
Keyscope v0.60.0 arrives today!
Thank you for the overwhelming response!
Keyscope v0.60.0 is almost ready. Here is a quick look at the Local Container workflow in action.
Click "Open in Data GUI" on a running container (like Valkey 9.0 here) to jump straight into the Data Stack. No manual connection setup required. Inspect the keyspace and run CLI commands right away.
Final cross-platform testing is underway. Releasing soon.

macOS (arm64) test of the built-in container engine:
Runtime: Docker Engine 29.4.3 (API 1.54)
On-demand bundle download & 64 GB sparse disk setup
Pulling and running Valkey 8.0 and 9.0 containers directly without a separate Docker setup
The Local Container Playground introduced in Keyscope v0.60.0 required a separate Docker installation.
However, to improve user convenience and workflow efficiency, we looked for a way to remove the need for manual installation by the user. As a result, although it was not an easy task, we are currently adding an option to install a built-in container.
It has almost no impact on the Keyscope distribution file size, as it is downloaded and installed on-demand only when the user wants to use the Local Container Playground.
Testing is currently underway, and the download sizes for the built-in container are as follows:
- Linux aarch64: 53 MB
- Linux x86_64: 60 MB
- macOS arm64: 98 MB
- macOS x86_64: 112 MB
- Windows Arm64: 131 MB
- Windows 64-bit: 145 MB
