I took an @Uber_India XL cab from Gurgaon to Delhi today. The driver was on the phone throughout speaking to his partner, and took a wrong route. When pointed out, he asked me to “chup chap baitho” and spoke very rudely further. I felt unsafe but found no panic button.

VHP with their north Indian boorishness haven't the first clue about cultural and community aspect of Durga puja that has been for decades the unifying force and joy for ordinary Bengalis. The proof is this low IQ idiocy about non-veg. No one has non-veg INSIDE the pandal lol
The Kolkata Durga Puja which has been declared an intangible world heritage by UNESCO has now come under the lens of the VHP. The VHP perhaps with the blessings of the ruling party has framed guidelines for this year. Non veg is a no no in the pandal. It can be served at a respectable distance away from the Puja site. Another Firman is that organisers should avoid “theme” pujas were clubs would compete with each other on how creative one could be with the idols. Who will tell these VHP uncles that for us Puja has transcended beyond rituals decades ago! The experience itself is now the religion!
