For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ & Him crucified.
- I Corinthians 2:2
The focal point is Christ & His gospel.
Everything else points to or flows from Christ & His gospel.
Christ died for our sins, He was buried, & He rose again the 3rd day.
Continue to believe and remember that Christ died for our sins, He was buried, and He rose again the third day for our justification and reconciliation to God.
That on that tree and cross, He bore our sins in His body and became a curse for us
His blood, the propitiation (atonement) for our sins.
We have peace and fellowship with God right now because of His blood.
Whether we live until 120 years old or die the next second, we shall see our Lord Jesus Christ face to face and be with our Savior forever.

Yes, I think some folks do that to stop us from testing and examining what we hear.
On another note...
One time I intentionally taught error and then revealed that I did that.
And then said...
"This is what happens when we don't search the Scriptures for ourselves to see if these things are so."
The brethren gave me the "look," smiled, some chuckled, and appreciated the reminder/exhortation/admonition.

Some brethren are weak in faith and stumble because they are hung up on a particular spelling/pronunciation of His name, so I sometimes accommodate them until I can show and teach them that God is not hindered by languages and/or our pronunciation of His name, and that we are a group of English-speaking brethren and call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
But brethren have liberty to call their Lord and Savior whichever name has been revealed to them.
I've personally witnessed people healed and demons casted out in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and have done the same.
No need to speak Hebrew, Aramaic, or Greek.
And the Holy Spirit gives the gifts of tongues and the interpretation of tongues to the one body, so other languages are acceptable to God.

“For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat. [11] For we hear that there are some who walk among you in a disorderly manner, not working at all, but are busybodies.
Now those who are such we command and exhort through our Lord Jesus Christ that they work in quietness and eat their own bread.”

Carbs are good if you need the fuel/energy for a run, training, or workout.
But loads of carbs with minimal physical activity in the long run is where the harm will come into play.

Amen. We should have no fear of men.
Only the fear of the Lord.
I believe in/on the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, who died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day for our justification and reconciliation to God.
That on that tree and cross, He bore our sins in His body and became a curse for us.
His blood, the propitiation (atonement) for our sins.

Because I aim to speak according to the Scriptures as I'm led by the Holy Spirit, not other men.
Yes.
If we don't want to be deceived, then do not give into the temptation to hate anyone.
Rather pray and fast with Abba Father, and in love, boldness, and the power of the Holy Spirit... love our neighbors and preach the gospel to every creature.
That Christ died for our sins, He was buried, and He rose again the third day for our justification and reconciliation to God.
That on that tree and cross, He bore our sins in His body and became a curse for us.
His blood, the propitiation (atonement) for our sins.
Repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.
And then by faith, immediately be baptized with water, calling on the name of the Lord, confessing the Lord Jesus.
The Lord Jesus Christ will judge the living and the dead on that appointed day.
God will fulfill all His promises and all that was prophesied in the Scriptures.
God will do His part.
As believers, disciples of Christ, we ought to mature, become more like Him, and obey and do what He has commanded us.
Replying to @Jmitch82784111 @kyletanderson
I could.
God the Father called the Son, "O God
I call Jesus, "O God, my Lord and my God."

Amen Mark.
And just like back then, sinful men tried to make Messiah, king in their own terms, according to the kingdoms of men, sinful agendas, and their own timelines.
Today, sinful men still try to make Messiah, king of their earthly kingdoms, agendas, and their timelines.
Many borrow the Name of Messiah for their own pride that is vain and futile.
The Lord Jesus Christ will manifest the full expression of His kingdom in His timing.
Good soldiers of Jesus Christ in the one body of Christ will not be entangled by the affairs of this life.
But rather by faith, obey what the Lord Jesus Christ has commanded His one body to do according to the Scriptures.

God the Father speaking to the Son.
One of the twelve apostles, Thomas speaking to the Lord Jesus Christ.
And all Scripture is given by inspiration of God.
I'll imitate God and our Lord's apostles in the Scriptures.
Replying to @kyletanderson
But to the Son He says:
“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.
— Hebrews 1:8
And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!”
— John 20:28
We have the Father calling the Son, "O God."
We have one for the twelve calling Jesus, "My Lord and My God."
I aim to speak the same as the inspired Scriptures.
God defines the words in the Scriptures, not men.
Jesus is Lord over all, including languages and men who wrote the Scriptures and translations.
The immediate context of a particular Scriptures and the whole of Scriptures define the words we read.
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God.
God gives the understanding of the very Scriptures He inspired. He is the Perfect Teacher and Revelator.
That's why dictionaries, lexicons, commentaries, "church history", and "church fathers" are not the authority on what the Scriptures mean.
🛑 God is.
👉 If dictionaries, lexicons, commentaries, "church history", and/or "church fathers" teach anything not in the Scriptures, then it has no authority on the one body and we have liberty to reject it.
👉 If these uninspired writings add another meaning(s) not found anywhere in the Scriptures, then it has no authority on the one body and we can reject that meaning.
👉 If the meaning of any words from these uninspired writings contradicts anything in the Scriptures, then we should absolutely reject that meaning.
---------
Consider that even with Timothy (who colabored with Paul) and the brethren in Philippi who had the "autographs" from Paul... it is God who gives the understanding and reveals.
“Consider what I say, and may the Lord give you understanding in all things.”
- II Timothy 2:7
“Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you. ”
- Philippians 3:15
“These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. ”
- I Corinthians 2:13
🟡 Principle: The Lord Jesus Christ is not hindered by languages, but Lord over all of them and gives the understanding.
On Pentecost, we see disciples of Christ declaring the wonderful works of God in other tongues perfectly by the power of the Holy Spirit.
And if brethren cannot understand the tongue, the Holy Spirit can give the perfect interpretation through the gift of interpretation of tongues to the one body.
God can glorify Himself perfectly and speak exactly what He intends in other languages.
🟡 Principle: The Lord Jesus Christ is not hindered by languages, but Lord over all of them and gives the understanding.
That's why the one body of Christ all over the world can understand the Scriptures and know God and His will.
All we need is the indwelling Holy Spirit, the one body, and the Scriptures in our fluent tongue.

We can know.
“The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.”
- Romans 8:16-17
“These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.”

And the dietary laws are also very healthy to the body (stewardship of the body).
And some of the other laws keep the Israelites from contracting diseases.
God's law is good and beneficial.
Including intentionally resting from work.
In Christ, we see the spirit of the law, and not just the letter, we see and understand God and who He is.
God is love among many other glorious attributes.
We are led by the Spirit to renew our minds with the Scriptures, and walk in His good, acceptable, and perfect will.

Glad to hear that.
I'll explain why I responded the way I did to you... out of love for Yeshua, His gospel, you, brethren, and unbelievers.
I saw you didn't declare His burial, nor His death for *OUR* sins, and His resurrection *the third day*
And then jumped straight to the kingdom.
The one thing I am vigilant about defending is the gospel of our Lord Yeshua Messiah.
Because it is the power of Yahweh to salvation for everyone who believes.
And that's why I responded to your OP (not just you, I confront anyone that the Spirit leads me to).
--------------------
Further explanation:
Many things fulfilled, are being fulfilled, and will be fulfilled... *THROUGH* the gospel of our salvation.
You can examine to see if you are doing this:
Are you conflating the gospel of our salvation, the word of the gospel, the message of the cross...
with what will happen *through* the gospel?
Just one example:
“that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ 👉 through the gospel, ”
- Ephesians 3:6
-------
You know I agree and proclaim that Yahweh reigns and that Yeshua is Lord and King of His kingdom.
What I don't do is conflate this (and other doctrines) with the gospel of our salvation. That's what I mean by obfuscating, minimizing, perverting, truncating (including not declaring His burial, removing the word 'our' before sins, rose again *the third day*).
The word of the gospel is a very narrow and particular word that the apostle Paul preached, declared that we received/believed, that we stand on, by which we are saved, and we are admonished to hold fast to.
We can declare other truths and doctrines about God if we like.
But if we're going to declare the gospel of our salvation, then we need to speak according to what is written.
That Christ died for our sins, He was buried, and He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.
The Lord's grace and peace be with you.
Replying to @YahwehGraced
And no one is conveyed into the kingdom of the Son of His love without hearing, repenting, and believing the gospel of His Son that the apostle Paul declared so clearly and explicitly in the Scriptures.
Which you truncated, perverted, minimized, and obfuscated... by the way.
At least get the word of the gospel right and explain how Christ manifested His kingdom by atoning for our sins with His blood, Him bearing our sins in His body becoming a curse for us, so He had to be buried, and Him rising the third day for our justification and reconciliation to God, defeating death and Satan.
And ascended and enthroned at the right hand of the Father, reigning
No one is bypassing the mesaage of the cross... to get to the kingdom of God.
Believing that Jesus is King and in His kingdom... will not save anyone, nor will that convey you into His kingdom.
You need to believe that Christ died for our sins, He was buried, and He rose again the third day for our justification and reconciliation to God.
That on that tree and cross, He bore our sins in His body, and became a curse for us.
His blood, the propitiation (atonement) for our sins.
The Lord Jesus Christ will judge the living and the dead in righteousness.
The apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ knew, preached, and taught the gospel of Christ and His kingdom.
“He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.”
- Colossians 1:13-14

To preach the kingdom of God is to testify to the gospel of Jesus Christ. 👇
But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God. “And indeed, now I know that you all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, will see my face no more.
- Acts 20:24-25
Replying to @YahwehGraced
The readers can read for themselves to see if your original post concerning the gospel is according to what is written in the Scriptures. Or whether you perverted, truncated, diminished, or obfuscated it. And that doesn't even matter. God knows.
After Pentecost and beyond, the apostle Paul was eventually sent to preach the gospel of Christ to the Gentiles, which you are part of a Gentile nation.
And we see the apostle Paul declared the word of the gospel that these brethren believed and he admonished them to hold fast to that word.
Are you heeding the admonishment or being stubborn?
You may have the last word.
Moving on.
Replying to @YahwehGraced
The problem is you don't get the word of the gospel (message of the cross) right to begin with, before you can even get to the rest of the doctrines.
And instead, you get defensive.
Are you ashamed of the gospel of Christ?
Shouldn't you care more about what Yeshua did and proclaim what He did as the Holy Spirit inspired the apostle Paul to declare, instruct, and admonish the brethren.
At least get the gospel right, if you're going to write about the gospel.
How do you think Yeshua feels about you truncating, perverting, minimizing, obfuscating His gospel and what He did?
👉 Moreover, brethren,
👉 I declare to you the gospel
👉 which I preached to you,
👉 which also you received
👉 and in which you stand,
👉 by which also you are saved,
🛑 if you hold fast that word which I preached to you
🛑—unless you believed in vain.
👉 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received:
👉 👉 👉 that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,
- I Corinthians 15:1-4
