Back in the park after taking a break and I was able to see Bramble in the Ramble again. Too high up to get a good photo and after it flew low it was already too dark to focus so this is the best I could do. Taken at a respectful distance and 1 sec long exposure. #birdcpp
Since the long eared owls have departed here’s a photo I took the other day when on turned it’s head my way. The views and lighting weren’t the best but still grateful for another encounter with this owl. This was taken at a respectful distance and low shutter speed. #birdcpp
Excited to share my very first coyote photo taken in Central Park. I saw both Romeo and Juliet the other day and I believe that this is Romeo as he was the significantly larger coyote. Taken from a respectful distance with a very slow shutter speed with my bridge camera. #birdcpp
Now that the Barred Owls gone here’s a photo I took around dusk when she flew down from the canopy and landed on a log on the other side of the stream, where she stared at the water for about 10 minutes before flying off to hunt. #owls #birdcpp #birdphotography
My first ever barred owl today in by the North Woods. I took this shot at a respectful distance and well after sunset with my bridge camera, so I had to post process in Lightroom. Thank you to everyone for the heads up on the owl. #birdcpp
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get any good shots of saw whet owl but to make up for it, I was able to encounter green-winged teal and this cooperative song sparrow during golden hour by the pool yesterday. @CentralParkNYC #birdphotography #birdcpp
Here are three additional photos I took of the hummingbird today @CentralParkNyc. #BirdSeenin2025 #birdphotography #birdcpp
For 7 months that I’ve started bird photography I learned that your photography skill is more important than the gear. I took these photos during my 2nd ever encounter with a hummingbird in @CentralParkNyc with my bridge camera (Panasonic fz80). #BirdsSeenin2025 #birdcpp
