Why don’t social networks use referral invite systems? Many used to. Seems like it would lead to
- accountability for invites
- fewer bad actors / less bots
- controlled organic growth
- organic communities
The biggest bottleneck in corporations are the people who make decisions. Right now it’s assumed AI will help people make decisions faster and serve their interests, but in reality AI will avoid people and will make decisions in the interest of the corporations that run them.
I love how people overreact about @SVB_Financial like @garrytan @reckless with @verge cast team are like “there’s no more money for startups” meanwhile @humane raises $100m from @KindredVentures based on vaparware (so far).
If I get on Twitter and get one piece of interesting or useful information, I call that a win, and then I get off before I get sucked in cesspools of comments.
How did “humans must have at least five fingers and no thumbs” become part of every AI data model?
That and lines, tubes, hairs, cables, threads, or wires can appear and disappear without any logic.
Creativity is the journey that leads to innovation. Design is the product of decisions made while on that journey.

What’s wild is most models in a series have $10 delta in price so the high-end K series has four modes $43 - $90, which begs the question, why so many models?
Then you have the green W series that seems identical to the beige K series other than color and bold website copy.
The bundled K4 with level is $10 cheaper than the K4 on its own, so I bought that. Don’t even need another level.
