got to perform in AGSUs for the first time 😎 I don’t get all fancy like this that often in my job since I’m usually in colonials to perform! and it felt real good to get my ESB on there along with a couple other updates

my 1SG was like “you’ve had an awesome 30 days, you’ve been crushing it” well yes 1SG I’ve had an exhausting 30 days but we out here putting in the work!!! glad I’m done with AFTs and EPFAs and all that till the new year though
slept absolutely terribly before my PT test this morning, including having nightmare that I had moved to Florida and ended up needing to remove a small alligator from my kitchen sink????
Sharing one final time bc she has a date scheduled for surgery now!!! Any remaining funds will go towards travel costs, since she has to stay overseas for a couple weeks to make this happen.

re-reading excerpts from my basic training journal and it’s hilarious and sweet all at once. remembering the things that weighed heavily on me, the times I felt proud of the trust my drill sergeants placed in me, the camaraderie with battle buddies… looking back on it is fun
I miss watching Sunday afternoon football but unfortunately I am too cheap to pay for the services that would let me watch so instead I make do with Sunday night and Thursday night games since they’re on different services lmao
